Thanks for the context, Don. As I don't keep up the with the latest episodes of the Deegan soaps, I assumed that was a recent event. Regardless, to me it's another example of the Two Faces of Deegan. And the question is - which one is real? Neither? Just let the riding speak for itself and leave all the marketing/pot stirring stuff alone.

People still don't understand psychology even though history repeats itself. Time and time again, the loudest and most aggressive talkers are proven to be the softest people on the planet. Imagine coming across as a big n bad "alpha" and then blocking people on the internet or turning off comments on a post that you deliberately put out on the internet.

Jet was obviously looking back and cross jumping again today to keep Deegs behind him. Luckily Jet is sponsored by Leupold who fit telescopes to his goggles so he can see far enough to see where Deegan is.

The gap in the first moto was over 20 seconds until Hunter dialed it back. That's +/- what it's been since the first round. Second moto, Jett was cruising around the majority of the race, and Hunter dialed it down. The gap didn't shrink as much as people want to believe. The data shows that.

Minear read him like a book. Very impressive from such a young rider. That being said, Shimoda shouldn't be getting out smarted by a rookie. His race craft is definitely the weakest area of his skillset
