There is one difference between JL and HD that are very important in the context of this discussion. JL came from nothing and his brother was effectively feeding the family as a teenager. Both of them had no other options but to succeed and overcome the odds. HD is a silver spoon fed narcissist that has been given every opportunity imaginable to succeed. Credit to him for not blowing the opportunity. But it comes off as ignorant when he’s always talking like the odds were stacked against him.

The Lawrence camp obviously agreed to do the interview on the basis that Donger is not discussed. It wasn't simply an oversight. They don't want to give Dong Boy and Botox Brian any oxygen.

Honestly I can not wait till first moto at Pala. We know DNGR is going to be good but can he get his teeth kicked in weekend after weekend and not lose his damn mind and quit? I think he set himself up where he is so delusional where if he doesnt get a win first half of the season he’s quitting.

Right now, the only thing we can legitimately use to compare the two – until they actually race each other – is their respective first races on a 450, and Jett had the better showing... Jett: 1/2 for 1st overall in Open at des Nations in '22 Deegan: 4/6/3 for 3rd OA at Buenos Aires WSX in '25

If he goes 22-0 his rookie season I’ll start comparing him to Jett. Until then, there’s another guy who has IT in the way.

Same could be said for just about every talented 250 rider when moving up. The list of 450 title winners is a lot smaller than 250’s.
