It is mildly frustrating (and a double edged sword) to declare Herling's title this year was due to team tactics. Everyone forgets the injuries (some pretty big) Herlings sustained this year, some due to other's mistakes. He also missed races - massive points lost, yet he still came back to win the title where others never missed a moto. I know he got a couple free points this year that IMO any other team would have done the same, but you can't take away the effort and shit he had to endure to get the crown. That and his speed...

Again--the hand doesn't even go up until MA has already launched. Surely anyone here that has raced has closed on someone a helluva lot quicker than they anticipated. After all ,Moto bikes do NOT have brake lights, lol. And in this case if Mike was going at "speed 10" and it appears that the Vet guy went from "speed 5" to "speed 2" in about a 100 foot stretch, it was a recipe for the disaster that happened .

I just want to say congrats to Dylan and big props to everyone who helped him out, from GDR to 114 MS to MX101 and every other sponsor that I'm forgetting. I've been a big fan of the MXGP series for a while, but the only time I've ever gotten out of bed on the west coast of Canada to watch LIVE has been when Dylan was racing. So awesome to see a Canuck stepping out of his comfort zone and level up.

First shown in 17th on the live timing once again and crossed the line in 15th after the first lap. Dropped to 16th and made his way back to 15th a lap later. Made the pass on Boisrame for 14th on lap 8. Made the pass on Ben Watson for 13th on lap 10. Made his way past Olsen for 12th on lap 12. Made the pass on Lupino for 11th on lap 13. Started lap 14 2.3 seconds back of Cairoli and making a push for 10th. Crossed the finish line in 11th place. 15-11 for 12th overall.

Seeing that logo on his helmet makes my day. Dedicated, Loyal, Class Act

If you look at it from a business point of view … the potential for growth in the women’s class is massive . Dwarfs the potential growth of all other classes combined by a huge margin . Food for thought ….

In the MTB world, participation from women has blown up, they race the same world cups on the same tracks on the same weekends as the men, they have there own points series and own prize purse that is equal to the men. I don't see why anyone would object to getting more women involved in racing, because in turn that will get more women involved in riding, which will grow the sport.
