I think he’s gotta adapt his style a bit, in Europe you have slower more technical tracks. US is more ball’s to the wall at times. You gotta get a bit sketchy & loose. Jett & Hunter ride similar to Prado but have more intensity, Prado will have to be willing to ho outside his comfort zone to make it happen. Time will tell I hope he figures out some more speed as watch the Lawrence show every wk end is already getting a be tiring.

That's a solid point about him lugging the bike. Many ppl have said he rides a taller gear than most, and his comments of MXGP tracks being much more one lined, and being used to just using the insides is probably a habit he has to change a bit. The tracks in the US are different, he just needs to adapt to that. If we consider this his first year of playing near the front of the field, he's doing good. Plus, I think the Hunter bros pace atm, is faster than what he experienced in MXGP, during his winning...

I'm sure the DNF contributes to the shift in perspective. It's realistic when you have the consistency of the Lawrences. The post race interview with Lewis is insightful. I don't get all the Prado bashing.

If Prado is ripping on the KTM and Chase struggles on the Kawi, that will be the nail in the coffin for me that the Kawi bike or program is a complete disaster..

Yeah Jorge and Hunter have been rivals since emx250, with Prado nearly always getting the upper hand which prob has bred frustration for Hunter Now Prado in his 1st full sx series not far off the pace when it has taken Hunter 7 years to get to this position in sx

American fans LOVE to pile on foreigners the moment there's a hint of trouble or issue etc etc. I'm in the minority here but I get what he's trying to say. He's been on a certain brand and style of bike his entire career, and the Kawi is just so completely different that he couldn't gel with it and him and that bike just don't go together. I hope he goes back to KTM next year and does well, I feel he's still yet to show his potential in the States. I typically root for foreigners in the US series...

RV made a career out of keeping it pinned, but I don't think we'll ever see another rider with the rear wheel control that he had.

In outdoors they have 0 250f titles and only 1 125 title (Langston 2003). In supercross they have 3 250f titles Musquin (2015) Anderson (2014) Ken Roczen (2013) and 0 125 titles. Surprisingly few championships on little bikes.

I can’t remember them even caring about 250s since Musquin’s long walk up that hill at Ironman in 2015. I’ve thought for a few years they just don’t see the value in paying top dollar for winning 250 guys and would rather put that money toward someone who car win a 450 title. It makes sense. The yahama was winning 250 titles left and right but it took a 450 title for people to start respecting the brand again.
