I had the unique experience of being able to only listen to the broadcast as I was driving home from the track yesterday. And I thought it was terrible when I could still view the race, this was a whole new level of terrible. At one point I thought man it would be so much nicer to have someone who could speak intelligently without Bondos puppet strings voice over the broadcast. I’d pay for it.

On a track like tonight's, where mistakes were unavoidable, I don't remember seeing Kenny make a single one on the broadcast. They'd cut from him to Hunter/Eli and it looked like they were riding different tracks. Dude is in a really good spot right now. My money's on Kroc!

My money is on Kenny tying it up and trading the last couple races with Hunter. It's either man's game. I can't even consider Tomac unless he comes out and straight up wins Nashville at this point. Between all 3, my heart is with Kenny.

Recency bias …. But it’s real, Kenny is hitting his stride and his comp is stumbling around and letting JCoop take points from them. (That’s not a slight on JCoop, he’s on the gas!) KRoc looks every bit the favorite now.

Hes in this thing now. He was out, then he was down by 13 now hes only 5 points down and you can feel the momentum has shifted. Eli is hurt and hunter has been making mistakes since his big crash, he seems a little rattled. Kenny is riding better than ever and is hitting his stride right at the perfect spot in the schedule. He could really win this thing! This is the best chance hes ever gonna have and he knows it, he has to take it.
