They both are fast but in Denver it took Ken to long to get to second and he couldn’t break the gap like he does if he is there right out of the gate. That would appear to be the most likely option. Very low chance in the near future that anyone signs Chase for a fat contract. He’ll get low salary and chunky performance bonuses for his potential. Sad to see really; as a Jett fan he was the guy I was most worried about 3 years ago.

Prado has definitely exceeded my expectations for the season. Didn’t help that the track looked super one lined but he’s been riding great honestly. Wouldn’t be suprised if he got a SX win next season. Prado holding up Webb kinda ended up ruining webbs , coopers, and ferrandis night haha

Everytime I hop on this thread reading the replies from people defending the team, downplaying the whole situation, "everything is fine", I think ok, maybe they are right to some degree. Sexton was a head case on the KTM when he won the last 7 outdoors. And when he won 7 supercrosses last year

So with those comments, and the recent events. The likelyhood that Chase Sexton races some other bike starting A1 2027 is probably substantially higher than him staying? Like 70/30 or even 80/20 in favor of Chase packing his bags and leaving the shitshow? I do wonder if Kawasaki Japan intervene, the US operation is literally wasting millions of dollars at the moment on nothing. Burning through the budget without anything to show for except horredous results and a shattered reputation.

Where does each party go from here? If two top riders split from Kawi in two years no factory rider will touch them with a barge pole for at least a few years. And where does Chase go? Star Yamaha is the only realistic option but can they pay him what he would want? They now have Deegan on 450, probably Webb on an SX only deal, and they’ll be preparing for Cole Davies to go 450 in 2028.
