The "salt to injury" stuff makes me laugh, not a huge deal although it's still not the kind of mistake an experienced public speaker should make. What makes him unqualified for the job is saying nonsense like "you don't want to give Roczen a lead because he's so good at managing from the front." That's literally the biggest hole in Roczens game, and Ricky knows that, he just doesn't have the presence of mind to remember that while he's calling the race live. I don't get the "bring back X" comments, they literally have four amazing people available already with JB, AC, JT and Weege and they still decided to go with RC and Diffey as their main guys. The people in charge obviously think that's the way to go sadly, which is crazy.

When RC said "JT, you've spent a lot of time in these LCQs, what do you think?" I was shocked, I thought "Damn, Ricky, you have no shame." But JT didn't miss a lick, says "I had my mail forwarded to the LCQs" and I was dying laughing!! Great comeback! JT$ is the man to ask the tough questions. When you're on TV your should be able to get idioms correct. RC is one of the worst public speakers I've ever heard. And Leigh is an entire idiot.

If the pilot of an airliner was as skilled a pilot as RC is an announcer would you fly in it?

I worked late, started to watch the races on my phone when I got home. Skipped through to what I THOUGHT was the first time lining up for the 450 main & was wondering.. why does chase keep looking around & seemed so unfocused?! Then a few minutes later realized what was going on. But forsure chase didn’t seem right, who could blame him.
