12/5/2024 6:24pm I don’t know but it sure seems like the margins on a high end MTB would be exponentially higher than a dirtbike. The development and complexity of a DB seems way more costly.

12/5/2024 10:06am Yeah I hear what you are saying but by that time I saw no major diff between the brands GG , HUS, and KTM so just figured they were all the same - in other words I didn’t devalue them because they didn’t say KTM.

12/5/2024 9:28am Well on one hand I think the EMTB integration makes sense as I do believe that moto guys will be drawn or driven to emtbs over time. I am personally struggling with how I allocate my time between the 2… anyone else see this?

Have you tried screaming at him? A lot of mini dads in my area do it, seems to work. In all seriousness though, seat time with a purpose and fundamentals. Just simple stuff like looking where you wanna go, toes in, attack position, etc. you can help him get good technique and the speed should come. Also when I started riding 2-3 times a week my riding took a big step forward.

12/2/2024 6:27pm Another thing - I think emtbs are eating away at the moto market. They are fun as hell and way easier to mobilize, affordable to operate, and drumroll…..you can ride them damn near anywhere… I myself has become addicted and lately I have picked my emtb over the DB for those stated reasons.

12/2/2024 6:22pm I think a lot of the Covid bubble peeps learned real quick they had to be able to fix and maintain said SXSs and dirt bikes and it wasn’t cheap or easy. You can still moto on a budget if you accept that older bikes can still be fun. I never judge anyone trying to keep dream alive.

If they do not upgrade what would be the point of them racing anyway with all the other teams improving. Even talents like Acosta and Binder accomplished little last season. What a waste.
