Here's a pic of me next to his bike in 1999/2000 at Hangtown, a race he missed due to the illness he talks about. One of my favorite pics ever. Also another pic of me doing a "Team photoshoot" in 2000 of my new 2000 KX 80 bike & graphics.

We always joked about "hating" him because he beat me in the title chase in 2000, but I've never had a problem with Shae. He's a good dude and I'm stoked that he seems to be doing well. In fact, as we stood on the podium in Dallas after the "I freaking won it" moment, I shook his hand and told him that if it couldn't be me with the number one plate, I was glad it was him. I was choking back tears, mind you, but I meant it.

Maybe he started the bike and the muffler packing immediately came out so he didn't want to drive an hour back to the dealer?? Either way this is a clear sign of the systematic destruction of the sport of motocross, an without a doubt the most controversial moment in its history

Good point, and the funny part... Should we have stopped the first moto because of the first turn pileup? That was likely one rider's fault, not all four of them that went down. Should we have stopped the second 450 moto at Hangtown because of the rain? No one deserved that, but it happened. Should we have stopped the first 250 moto because Hunter Lawrence's bike let go in front of Jordon Smith, knocking Jordon out? Wasn't Jordon's fault, but he paid the price for being in the wrong place at the wrong time, just like RJ Hampshire in the...

I wouldn't say I have my stuff figured out. A lot of my stuff isn't... I'm divorced, I've lived alone for the last 7 years, I learn everyday how to best myself as a father and I don't know much about anything else other than SX or MX... I do have the luxury not to rely on anyone's paycheck. I've made my money. I paid my divorced settlement in 1 deed signature and 1 wire transfer. Never blew money. Always invested and most importantly, I'm living very modestly compare to what I could be doing... I live in a "cheap"...

I just bought my son a new klx 110 after deciding to not buy highly strung Ktm as he only rides once every 4 to six weeks. Best decision I’ve made as a father to buy him something that is easy to manage not something that I have to hold my breathe every time he rides it. I often think parents are buying kids over powered bikes for their skills My son raced bmx here in Australia for 5 years and actually found it’s actually less crashes touch wood then bmx ( overall) The tracks I take him too are...

You and every reasonable, intellectually honest person agrees. Vital argues over some incredibly dumb shit but honestly this is beyond stupid. This has been fascinating and yet awful to watch. Some of you people are so blinded by bias l wouldn't listen to your opinion about literally anything.

Cairoli gets the nod ahead of Everts for me. Everts was born and raised right in the centre of all things Moto cross due to his father and this made his upward trajectory way easier. Toni came from nothing and his location and lack of contacts in the sport make his rise to the top more admirable. I remember a Trampus Parker interview when he talked of the time of a family arriving to motos in northern Italy from Sicily in a beat up old van to race and they where so poor all they had to eat was a...

Rupert X, THE Rupert X , a man of moto for decade upon decade speaks his well thought out mind and gets more down votes than thumbs up from candies who were shitting their diapers while Rup had already been roosting for decades. They look in the mirror and say to themselves, I gave Rupert a thumbs down! I showed him! Guy B comes along and agrees with what Rupert says and gets nothing but thumbs up. They then look in the mirror and say to themselves, maybe I am a puss.

MXDN Red Bud 2018 – The Massacre We, (the American Team) finished in sixth (6th) place and, the reason we finished in sixth place, was because- we weren’t properly PREPARED. We picked the right riders, they performed to the best of their abilities, yet, we failed to even make it onto the podium. The Motocross Des Nations has been held three (3) other times on American soil and the Americans have won on each of those occasions, in 1987, 2007 and 2010, respectively. It took forty (40) years to have our first American Des Nations event, now we have had...

I've gotten some flack over my experience with my 350. I have a 16 350xcf, and I bought it as a new leftover in 2017. In 2yrs I have put a total of 450+hrs on my 350. In 2017 I raced both a Provincial Series and Western Canada series and walked away with 2 championships in Vet A. For 2018 I was moved to Pro/AA where I trained but only competed in 2 races. I won one and got 2nd on the other (only reason I mention this is hopefully validate that I do ride at a fairly competitive level)...
