I remember that race. A rare bad day for Dunge but the racing was great!

How freaking amazing! Flat out hauling!
Had the great RC, Reed and Stew battles in outdoors to a few years later this group. Pretty spoiled we were. Would be lucky to have anything close to this again.

When did Reed ever battle with RC or Stew? They worked him outdoors

A great watch. Sometimes it gets forgotten what a badass RV was.

That was a great race but for me the RV, Dung & Reed battles in 2011 were better.

When Chad Reed says he doesn’t see any greatness in the sport at the moment, I think he could be right.
Especially if he's including himself. Whistling

A lot of times greatness isn’t appreciated til it’s gone.

I was just watching 450 outdoor races last night. Roczen slicing through the pack at 16' Millville Nat was unreal. Same for Tomac last year at Washougal.
Still lots of talent. I am hoping Roczen can return to his 16' season level when he was a Suzuki and do battle with Eli.
Add Webb and Marv to the mix and it could be some more great racing.

Great season! Crazy how Reed handled Dunge and RV until the Chadapault.

Man, I miss that bubba smile on the podium. Good times.

Was RD5 on the 350 that season/that race?

Dungey was never on a 350.

Considering Roczen and Tomac are both leagues better than Reed was outdoors he’s full of shit. More of his never ending self promotion of lumping himself in a group of guys that were all better than he was.

That's exactly what hes saying. Reed puts himself in a group with RC and Stewart when in a lot of peoples opinion, hes not. He got waxed consistently(especially outdoors) by RC and JS so for him to say there's no greatness in the sport right now as he's getting waxed again is pretty lame I think.

That’s not what I’m getting out, but outdoors Tomac and Roczen are both better than MC. Talking about how Reed talks and acts like he is in the same caterogry as those guys and in my opinion he is not. I think peak Tomac and Roczen both have hit heights Reed has not as far as pure speed and outdoors like I said they are on a another level.

KR in his prime, 2016, and Tomac last year, are pushing those 450's near to the limits as anyone ever has outdoors.

They were.

Also very costly for Nike to make, per pair.

According to the win totals and titles, Roczen is hardly leagues ahead of Reed outdoors. 1 more title and 4 wins doesnt achieve that. He is a bad dude, but credit, where credit is due.

Roczen has won more 450 motos in a season than Reed has in his entire 450 career.

Was Reed talking about outdoors when he said that though?

That's an honest question, I saw that he said something like that but didn't read or see the interview to know exactly what was said.. I would've assumed he just meant SX..
