As soon as I saw the thread title, I knew it had to be Larson's. I purchased my bike from them simply via email. Never one phone call. My last email simply stated, "sounds like a deal, see you when you open Saturday morning". Just like that, in and out with a new bike less than 45 minutes. The owner is at D23 events and award banquets, giving away prizes. Very core moto guy.

Double D. Danger Dave. Somewhere out there, and in my own archives maybe somewhere I'll never access, is a pic TFS took of Dave, Demuth, and Dye at a Lake County afterparty. We look like three brothers, partners in crime. Good times, good days.

Hughes sure has an ego for a guy that never won a championship and his mouth could use some soap.🤦‍♂️

I'll DM you

Yeah we knew Saturday is just all the remaining motos. We plan on getting there in time to watch the first motos and staying all day. It'd be awesome of you to take time out of your day to help us out. I had already asked about the parking prices and spectator pricing. So no big deal there. Thank you for your kindness, this is why we've loved moto it's usually a huge family.

So me and my son are going to drive up for Friday and Saturday motos. We'll be paying for parking and just gonna spectate. How far is the spectator parking away from the track and how early should we get to the facility to beat any significant traffic? Also any advice on directions to the spectator parking would be greatly appreciated! We've never been and it's always been something we wanted to do. He turns 18 in October and this seemed like my last chance to make it happen before he heads off to the Air Force when he graduates...

I'm old enough to remember when the GNC final was raced in the Astrodome. I raced inside there in 81, before Whitney became its home. In fact, we bought our first new Pro Trac at Whitney in March of 83 from Jerry, as he had a Pro Trac dealership at the time. We were supposed to bring it home after the race was over, so we loaded up 5 KX mini cycles, 3 kids, Parents, a weeks worth of clothes, race gear, tools, gas cans, an Atari 2600, small color tv, and a 3 month old St. Bernard pup, all...

Keefer misspoke, has since owned it and apologized. People reacted to the bad info. Most reactions were plenty reasonable for a message board. Some were over the top and easy enough to scroll past if you wanted to. People reacting finally got the problem fixed where it hadn't been previously fixed for two months. DC, the supposed grown up in the room, took shots at his fan base when a simple and less woe is me response would have done the job just fine. Could have just explained it and advocated for the riders but his thin skin wouldn't allow...

Yeah I pay over 300 people every two weeks and it never fails that there is always multiple people that don't get paid and typically its because they were a new hire that either transposed some numbers on their application or put the wrong checking information on their direct deposit authorization form...so yes it happens.... and then every single year I have between 25-50 current or former employees that have left during the year that their W-2's and 1099's get returned because of wrong addresses or they lost it and need a replacement (those cost $25 a piece).....so yeah when...
