“Why do people hate the double boxes so much?” — Weege on the latest Fly Racing Racer X Review Show. AKA: Why do fans get so irritated by the PIP/split-screen segments? Because the problem isn’t necessarily showing two battles at once, it’s the absurdly inefficient way the screen is formatted to do so. First time on a bike, I was about 28. I was sitting at home on a weekend (wife was out of town), and supercross came on the tv. I don't think it should be an either/or when it comes to fossil fuels and other forms of generation. Ideally it would be a mix of several different sources and the source would be determined by conditions. I grew up with massive amounts of hydro power. It was/is fantastic from a pure dollar standpoint. It wasn't the greatest thing for the ecosystem in some ways, but it was a tradeoff. I'm definitely glad that the hydro producers worked and worked on ways to mitigate the issues, especially the fish run elimination, but the costs were pretty damn big in order...

Who doesn't love a good sunset? There's something about watching the sun go down, ending the day as it goes into night that i've always enjoyed. 😎 Maybe I'm biased, but Arizona has some of the best I've ever seen. Here's a sample of a few and also from my childhood home in Eagle Rock overlooking the city of Glendale, as well as Pismo Beach. And this is the bike that gets me there.....😎 Hope you enjoyed the pics, show me what you got. 🙂

Also, to add, I personally felt the least amount of tension post-race between the two that I’ve felt almost all year. Haiden referenced the Lawrence’s each off the back of one of my questions, with no real reaction other than just talking about the race.

I remember his 1st days testing with Mitch…a smile with more energy than the sun. I remember Dallas…fuck me…that was fugly. Then the surgery…and he came back… I remember breakfast at Waffle House…with him and Mike…before that shit-storm. I remember now… In my sport, regular people of regular means can become something …something great…in my sport. They can even come upon some harsh times… Doesn’t matter.
