BeachMX Added a reply to “First Time on a Dirt Bike” Stories
8/10/2026 9:17am First time on a bike, I was about 28. I was sitting at home on a weekend (wife was out of town), and supercross came on the tv. I said to myself, " That looks sooo fun!!" and immediately went down to the local bike shop and bought a YZ125 right out of the showroom floor along with all the...

5/31/2026 9:00pm I agree. I was at the race yesterday, and it looked like Deegan was working much harder to run the pace than Jett, Prado, and Hunter. I don't know how he's going to run that pace and faster with that technique, even with a good start. Smashing his way around the track, as opposed to "gliding" around it for lack...
BeachMX Added a reply to What is the buzzing sound in the background of the Peacock broadcast?
2/8/2026 5:03pm 60 cycle hum? If its a low drone sound its likely a grounding issue between the audio gear. Common in audio and fixable if you can isolate it.

BeachMX Added a reply to Collar bone plate or not
1/26/2026 2:30pm That was me.. Could barely move and getting in and out of bed? forget about it... like a 10 minute ordeal. Once plated, game changer. Ribs took a couple of months before I could sneeze or cough without major pain. Take forever to heal. Collarbone was whatever.. Ribs were the worst part of the whole thing.

1/25/2026 5:22pm Plate. Broke mine pretty bad (in pieces) and had to wait 1.5 weeks for surgery.. totally sucked. I felt much better right away when I woke up from surgery. I had a bunch of broken ribs too, and surprisingly they felt a little better as well with everything in my shoulder back in place.

Deegan should have put his head down and won the 2nd moto by as much as he could, collected the win bonus an 2nd in the championship pay out. Then on the podium congratulated Jo on his championship. Thats what a true professional would have done.

Bet you a mortgage payment we don't see anything close to that when the grown ups race in a few minutes.

BeachMX Added a reply to Do amateurs/vets/normal riders want to ride a SX track?
8/12/2025 9:31am I remember the Star West whoops! Super fun, and small enough to make you feel like a rockstar without killing you if you blew it. Did a couple Arenacross races back in the day, and while scary it was fun! I would definitely ride an amateur Arenacross track if there was one around... I should just build one on my...

BeachMX Added a reply to Dunlop MX3S vs MX34 vs MX53 vs Factory Spec
6/9/2025 9:53pm I need to try a spec front! I ride at Fox a bunch and I am 34 both front and rear, and the front feels like it wants to push for me as well (and does). I was planning on going back to the MX3S, but going to give the spec a shot.

BeachMX Added a reply to Plated or not, which collarbone handles next injury best?
9/28/2024 1:23pm I broke mine a couple months ago pretty good and had it plated. So glad I did.. I was in some serious pain due to broken ribs as well on that side, and once I got it plated everything felt better. Recovery has been pretty easy, and I should be back on the bike next week! I also had a...
