I’m finally going to try the MX14 but I’m lost as to what front tire to match it with.

I mainly ride at 3 Palms in Conroe, which is typically very soft with a good amount of sand hence the MX14.

What does everyone pair the MX14 with?

Mx34 is the go-to. Factory spec if you’re ballin’ and racing.

MX34z the mx3s is super good but does not last very long.

I think the AT82 has the same knob pattern as the MX3S. I really like the MX3S but I wonder if the AT82 lasts longer?

It doesn't matter what tire he uses as the dirt at 3P the tire will dryrot and crack before the tire hairs even wear off. The scoop tire is a game changer there tho.

As a solid c-class rider, the factory spec may just be the way to go. 🤣

I doubt there is much benefit to the spec tire on really soft dirt, but try it and let us know. 😀

The 53 isn’t as good in soft dirt as the other tires you listed. It isn’t terrible but just not as good.

...as a fat old slow vet slug, I can tell you I really like the Dunlop Spec front tire for SoCal dirt.

I can really crank it over and it sticks past the point where Dunlop's other front tires would have pushed.

IMO, i would rate it above the MX3S and the production MX 34 front - so much so that I bought a shitload of them on sale...

I’d like to try the new MX32 mid soft. Supposedly a softer carcass than Dunlop.

Funny how companies have their way of building products. In the street track world the Pirellis are like riding on pillows and have great feel. Dunlops stick ok, but feel like stone tires. The MX33 and MX34 have rather poor feel IMO. I have an MX3S ready to try, but then may try Pirellis.

I need to try a spec front! I ride at Fox a bunch and I am 34 both front and rear, and the front feels like it wants to push for me as well (and does).

I was planning on going back to the MX3S, but going to give the spec a shot.
