3/27/2024 6:13pm Contacted pro circuit and they said both ti-6 and ti-6 pro are the same length. Was about to swap my order to the pro and just got a msg from my local shop saying my ti-6 has arrived 🤣 Would you swap to the pro? Is your t-6 horribly loud?

3/27/2024 5:10am Would you possibly know if the pro muffler is the same length as your t-6?

3/26/2024 9:32pm Can anyone confirm the difference between the ti6 and the ti6 pro? Is it just the core diameter or is the muffler length different aswell? Thanks

3/15/2024 3:30pm Thanks, I've sent him an email so hopefully he sends me his new map. In saying that I have tried a few different maps and a few of my own and I'm actually very happy with the stock mapping with opened up airbox/exhaust and 51 tooth rear.

3/15/2024 3:17pm The last few posts about Keefer’s fuel and ignition settings is the old 24 kx450 one. He since went a complete different direction with the fuel and ignition settings. He said in stock form the bike is rich. In his podcast he mentions you can email him for the new settings with the stock ECU. It’s a very different mapping for fuel and a slight change on Ig. I have the numbers but it’s not my place to post them. After that, he’s now testing the vortex.

3/14/2024 5:44pm Another video on Keefers site saying bike is rich yet the Keefer/cha map adds more fuel. Am I right to be confused?

3/13/2024 6:44am Pretty simple to do, remove end cap and grind/cut out baffle that is in the end cap. Then remove the 2 screens inside muffler, 1 is close and can get with long pliers. 2nd one is further down and need long screwdriver or a long drill bit works good aswell. Just tear the crap out of them they will come...

3/12/2024 1:13am I appreciate it. That definitely makes me feel a little better. Sucks that I can't be home at the moment and get to riding it. As for now I can only sit and read and watch videos and so on. They all have their own special pros and cons so it's good to hear you are enjoying it so far. Can't wait to get home and get started on the freshy.

3/11/2024 11:40pm I'm coming from a 23 yz450f and 23 350sxf (which I still own). With 12hrs on this new kx it's definitely not perfect but it's better than my previous bikes, don't stress you made the right call 👍

3/11/2024 3:49pm I agree, bike definitely feels lean. Especially once airbox and exhaust has been opened up.

3/11/2024 3:47pm Yeah I tried a map with more fuel and less timing and it did improve the detonation. It was too slow for my liking but so I've been putting octane boost in my fuel lately and it seems to be ok. Haven't ridden on a real hot day to test it yet but.

3/11/2024 6:54am Yeah I was having trouble with detonation on hot days and definitely feel like the bike is lean. Just some dyno videos on YouTube and Keefer said in his podcast or something that even twisted say it is rich, that has me a little confused.

3/10/2024 7:28pm I find that interesting as the map keefer has on his website just adds fuel, a few of the dyno tests and keefer himself has said that the bike is very rich from stock. Also my vote is for the 51 tooth.

3/8/2024 6:31am That seems strange, I'm similar weight and only needed to go to 56nm (5.7kg) to get 105/37

3/4/2024 1:25am Sorry if this is a little bit off topic but as the 24 kx450 comes with new dunlop mx34, what does everyone think of this tyre compared to the 33 in pure sand conditions? I'm feeling though it maybe a step backwards for full sand but a step forward for anything a bit harder base.

3/2/2024 10:25pm Yeah I'm finding with the 51 I can actually short shift into 4th alot earlier coming out corners and bike handles the acceleration bumps better. With 50 I'd have to rev 3rd out alot more otherwise it would struggle a bit. People running full exhaust may not have that trouble.
