I played around alot with the mapping and actually ended up back with the stock map. I have PC Ti6, opened up airbox/filter and 51 tooth and never use 2nd anywhere. 3rd pulls from any corner, is very smooth and pulls forever. I feel the kx app is a bit of a gimmick compared to the yamaha one. It allows a bit of adjustment with fuel but almost nothing with timing.

I took my ‘24 out to Lincoln Trail this weekend to try it out on a real track under race conditions. They received 3+ inches of rain last week. It’s not really about more power, it’s moving that power down lower in the curve so you can use third gear more in slow corners, which makes for a smoother power delivery, which is easier on your body because the acceleration isn’t as abrupt. You are correct, I'm not local anymore but I certainly appreciate the offer! I gotta say though, even with the stock gearing I'm not having any problem carrying 3rd through all but the very tightest corners. I actually like the reduction in the "jumpyness" compared to the prior generation. If feel like I'm smoother and carrying more momentum through corners. The stopwatch backs up this sensation for me, at least. We'll find out soon enough whether I'm right or wrong at Lincoln Trail in about two weeks!

I'm using the last gen tank, and it fits perfectly fine. I run a washer and bolt on the left side plastics because they tend to spread a little bit from the extra size of the tank. Gives it some more give without modification to the plastics, only a little bit of space between the left size shroud and air box plastics. Right side fits perfectly.
