25 crf 450 vs 25 350 Chassis feel. first let me say this. I rode & wanted to like a 24 & older crf450 but up in the head tube & right under seat a shock tower I felt a stiffness or apparently" lack of" which gave a edgy harsh feel & twitchy . Suspension changes you could do at home did not correct it.I have since rode a Factory connection set up with linkage ect. that is pretty good.also has.a Vortex with a very smooth map 24 & older. Ok the 350 I have had a 25 ,2- 23's...

Im not sure this question was directed at me, but heres my take on the compare between the 25 sxf350 and the 25 crf450 Ive been on ktms for the last 5 years and they are superior to any jap bike in these areas... Breaks, the brembos really are usefully better. They are more linear and consistent. I didnt realize how much my corner entrance was influenced by the brembos. The jap brakes dont give that confidence. Not talking power here but finesss. That said the Hondas new front brake is better than the yamaha Clutch, face it, the ktm...

Sorry if this is a little off topic but would you mind sharing your thoughts between the 25 350 and the 25 crf450, mainly in the chassis and handling department?

Well, it’s been a crazy day but a good one! First off I want to say thanks again to everyone that responded to this thread, offering advice and even help at times. It’s very much appreciated, I’ve been reading every response intently and Vital really has shown that it steps up for its community in a time of need. So I had mentioned a few days ago that I was waiting to hear back from Stark (who had read this post) and the dealership where the bike originally came from. Well, today I got some great news! The good people...

I guess you could say that what has frustrated people in the past is that the Japanese manufacturers take longer on model development and are overly pragmatic and conservative on their decisions. Clearly there is a reason for that now that we've seen what can happen. They are not in the business of going out of business.

Yeah I've already got the beer belly covered, probably partly the reason the battery doesn't last very long. A fat man on deep sand is not the starks best friend 🤣

They didn't actually tell me which countries and I have a friend with a stark here in Oz and his still charges at 3.3kw so I really dont believe too much of what stark tell me. I would just avoid connecting your phone to wifi if you can just incase. I feel the same that the 3.3kw was already too...

I agree very much with your last sentence. The bike itself and the riding experience are truly phenomenal. The build quality and innovation on the bike is quite impressive, I've been really pleased by the chassis itself. However, I can't help but cringe at their marketing tactics. It started off weird with the turtleneck videos, and they haven't really smoothed out their image much other than aligning with racers. The claims they make on battery life are so subjective, and I believe they paint a better picture than reality. I really like the bike, I prefer to ride it over...

I couldnt agree more with everything you said. That's exactly how I explain it to people that ask "a very fun toy to add to your fleet". It is the most fun bike I've ever ridden but that fun is very short lived. I think they missed the mark by building the bike around the battery rather than designing it...

An ICE bike's engine that is ridden on the rev limiter, will have more wear than one that is ridden at lower rpm. The same applies to the Stark's battery, if it's been ridden in deep sand at high speed, battery degradation will be higher than a Stark ridden on a slow tight hard pack track. Average usage will see a 20% degradation in capacity after 500 charging cycles, but it will vary, depending how the bike has been ridden.

Yeah mine was still charging at 3.3kw up until the other day when I connected my phone to wifi and it changed. I suggest not connecting your phone to wifi ha ha. My app and bike were both up to date with the latest version but when it was connected to wifi and I was playing around in the Varg...

I'm calling BS on the 20% increase, 6.5kw to 7.2kw is only 11%, unless im missing something. I applaud stark for what they are doing. They have built a great product but some of there claims and marketing are a bit misleading.

I would really like to speak to him but I asked the dealer that I bought the bike from if it was possible to talk to him directly but they wouldn't give me any contact details. I don't have any social media either 🤦‍♂️

I do get a laugh when some people say they ride sand and then I see a picture or video of the track. I guess it can't hurt to ask.
