If Yamaha made a 350 with their current platform it would be the best bike ever made, and they would sell every unit they produced.

If Yamaha made a YZ350 the vet gates would be full of them. I think there is a legitimate business case there.

6/10/2025 4:15am I don't know exact numbers but I have heard it's one there best selling bikes. I think with ktm's current situation now would be the best time for another manufacturer to jump in with a 350. Just in my small group of riding buddies 4 of them would buy a yz350 if they made one.

6/10/2025 2:24am Heard alot of rumours about triumph making one and a few about yamaha aswell possibly. Does anyone have any real info on if and when we might actually see one? My guess is possibly a 27 model of some sort at the earliest.

My thoughts are it would be a good thing if there wasn't any major revisions from any company and they just refined what they have. After Keefer talking about how good the 2008 model Honda he tested against the newer ones was, it would make sense to stick with a working model and fine tune it. KTM has good bikes right now and could be better with refinement over the next few years with no major revisions.

5/18/2025 4:08pm Yeah for sure will let everything break in properly before making any major changes. I have a pretty well setup set of kybs on my stark that will fit the Triumph. Might try them and it should give me a good direction to head.

5/3/2025 7:01pm Just the control they have over the bike is enough for me to never buy another one. The riding aspect of the bike is amazing but the fact that here in Oz they have simply dropped our charging rate and there's nothing we can do about it, plus a few other things have really pissed me off with the company.

The 450 felt very light and flickable. The chassis was super compliant. They would prep the demo track in the morning and then just let it go all day so I purposely rode in the afternoon. A couple parts were really shot out with big holes and the bike had a weird sensation where you would brace for something that you were accustomed to feeling really harsh and the bike would go through it like nothing was there. I will say that front end traction isn't super good, but you might be able to improve that with setup changes. The...

It’s 100% coming. But I doubt it’ll be here for the 2026 models. But I could be wrong on that part.

I spoke to a Triumph engineer at Mini O's for about an hour after riding the 450 and I asked about a 350. I have a lot of experience on a 350 so he was curious what i had to say. He basically said that they are making one for off road and it only made sense to build a motocross version as well.
