1/27/2025 6:21pm I'm not sure I understand what you mean by torque limited or power limited? Hp is just torque at a certain RPM.

1/27/2025 4:35pm Yeah I'm on my second revalve now and it's alot better but the harshness into the hands is still there. It's the worst on small slow choppy stuff, then gets better on anything medium size and medium pace and then worse again on the real big hits.

1/27/2025 4:31pm On my track my average speed is around 50-55kmh and top speed around 90-95kmh

1/27/2025 4:05pm How do you like your suspension? This part I'm struggling with a bit, overall the bike handles amazing but the actual suspension feel isn't the best. I'm thinking of starting a new post about stark suspension setup, you think it would be worth it?

1/27/2025 4:02pm I was thinking of trying a 15 tooth front sprocket to bring the motor speed down a bit, stock is 14.

1/27/2025 3:14pm Funny thread, on one side we have Stark nightmare scenario, deep sand track, overheating, and on the other side we have Stark dream scenario, C rider on hardpack getting 1h range with some battery left. If you were both on the same track, you would still end up with wildly different range. Smith, your next test, swapping bikes with your buddy for a run, will be very informative.

1/27/2025 2:53pm Yours numbers seem to line up similar to my friends. The thing I think that is making the difference is the average speed. I have to check but I think my average speed is alot higher, probably due to our more open tracks. And speed just kills the battery. When I say absolutely useless under 20% I'm probably exaggerating a...

1/27/2025 2:42pm I'm in Oz and I'd say most of our track are 3rd/4th gear style tracks.

1/27/2025 2:41pm We did for 2 laps but mainly to test suspension. The little info from that seems to say both bikes are fine but it is definitely the next test I will do for sure.

1/27/2025 2:38pm Im actually ok with the run times I get and have accepted it. I just get a bit confused and start to question it when I hear of people similar speed to me getting alot more run time from there's. Yeah even with all the issues I have I absolutely love it. It is by no means perfect and getting...

1/27/2025 6:55am Regen can go anywhere from 0 to 100. I agree that 50hp is enough for practically any corner. The part I struggle with on lower hp settings is the top end, the stark has amazing torque but then I feel it tapers off very quickly. On faster open sections it feels like the last 1/4 of the throttle almost does...

1/27/2025 6:51am Yeah the numbers just don't seem to add up, maybe it is more to do with the speeds of our tracks here possibly. I have 2 friends with starks that are both slower than me and there numbers are more in line with yours. So that part makes me think that my bike is ok. I believe what you are...

1/27/2025 5:43am Just an update for anyone who was following this or anyone interested in some more real world feedback from the stark. These past few days I got to ride my stark on some different mx tracks. First one was what I'd call absolute best case scenario for the stark, super hardpack almost like concrete and no hills at all. Second...

1/25/2025 1:28pm You can’t properly evaluate the bike if the suspension is not set up for you, particularly springs. You are still assuming you’ll have the same feeling after respring and revalve but you don’t know that to be true because you haven’t tried it. For some reason your dragging your feet on getting the suspension set up. Which is the first step in getting a bike dialed in for yourself. Mind boggling stuff, maybe just a troll I don’t know.

1/24/2025 3:19pm There aren’t any HRC engineers on here so I’m not sure the answer your trying to find? Number 1 thing is to go up a spring rate your comment “ SAG, yes I have run from around 100mm to about 107mm. For sure the harshness is noticeably better at 100 than say 105” is further indication along with your fork settings your undersprung and riding around in the harsh part of the travel, especially on the rear. It’s hardly fair to evaluate a bikes performance with out addressing the simple setup items that will allow you to get a real...

1/10/2025 2:32pm 25 crf 450 vs 25 350 Chassis feel. first let me say this. I rode & wanted to like a 24 & older crf450 but up in the head tube & right under seat a shock tower I felt a stiffness or apparently" lack of" which gave a edgy harsh feel & twitchy . Suspension changes you could do at home did not correct it.I have since rode a Factory connection set up with linkage ect. that is pretty good.also has.a Vortex with a very smooth map 24 & older. Ok the 350 I have had a 25 ,2- 23's...

1/10/2025 2:21pm Im not sure this question was directed at me, but heres my take on the compare between the 25 sxf350 and the 25 crf450 Ive been on ktms for the last 5 years and they are superior to any jap bike in these areas... Breaks, the brembos really are usefully better. They are more linear and consistent. I didnt realize how much my corner entrance was influenced by the brembos. The jap brakes dont give that confidence. Not talking power here but finesss. That said the Hondas new front brake is better than the yamaha Clutch, face it, the ktm...
