I would really like to speak to him but I asked the dealer that I bought the bike from if it was possible to talk to him directly but they wouldn't give me any contact details. I don't have any social media either 🤦‍♂️

I do get a laugh when some people say they ride sand and then I see a picture or video of the track. I guess it can't hurt to ask.

I would love to test out a new battery if it was even something they are working on. Somehow I don't think that would happen, while they have answered all my questions and been reasonably helpful they have also been pretty dismissive of suggestions and things I have said.

The MX is only available with 80hp, and the 6.5kWh battery, the EX is available with 60hp or 80hp and the 7.2kWh battery. I suspect Stark discounted the MX's price to move stock before offered it with a 7.2kWh battery at the old higher price.

Forgive me if im wrong but stark are claiming 20% more battery capacity than the mx version. 6.5kw to 7.2kw is just a smidge over 10%, or am I missing something?

Derating at 50% was something i was getting with high hp settings and high regen settings. With lower regen (20%) it is alot more common for it derate around the 30%. Although yesterday on 58hp and 20% regen it derated at around 40%. On another note, your first post has me thinking you are one of my mates trolling me...

Haven't had the chance to do alot more testing, it's been harvest so been a little busy for riding ha ha. Tried an mx14 rear on my track and it was possibly a little bit better as far as battery goes. Its hard to tell but, if we are talking 5-10% differences that is only 1-2 minutes ride time difference...

"Sometime before 2030" isn't that many production years. It's entirely possible that they already have all the tooling they need to mass-produce a CR-E, but it still won't be released until then because of testing. The tests those Japanese companies do would blow your mind, and especially on an electric bike, Honda will be very, very careful. I'm talking about things like: "What if someone is nearby using a high-powered welder, and the welder arcs, causing a momentary surge in the drive motor, which causes the bike to leap into the intersection and kill someone? We must have a prevention...

I'm not a 450 guy but this bike sounds really good. I really like how the chassis sounds, especially. I think the comfort and stability mix, with still acceptable cornering, is what I like best. Sort of why I like the prior Yamaha chassis. But the fact that this bike is light (and slimmer) would be fantastic. The only downside is most reviews say it doesn't like 3rd in corners, which is a bit of a bummer on a 450. Regardless, I give Triumph a lot of credit for really having a great first effort, on these bikes. I hope...

Some think the 350 is not fast enough, even though TC222 won on one, some 450 riders think the 450's are too fast, especially for SX, man even the pro's say that dialling back the power is done many times ........ surely 400cc is the go, a 450 with less stroke equals less flywheel mass, meaning a lighter feeling bike that can change direction quicker. Remember Johnny Oz told you first ;-)

I honestly don't think you need to spend that much. I'd say definitely do a spring conversion, I'm biased towards kyb but any of the major ones will be a very noticeable improvement especially if you ride hardpack. And a revalve of the shock is really all you need. I get it's a tough call but and I struggled big...

One of the big 4? I thought Triumph would be the only hope for another 350, ill be happy to be wrong. I'll take a new generation crf350r with kyb 👌 Or a kx380 with kyb 🤔

I was in the exact same situation as you, I owned both those bikes at the same time and currently only own the 350. I could have kept both but didn't see the point of having 2 bikes that basically achieve the same thing. My kx had revalved suspension, full PC Ti6, 1 tooth on the rear and opened up...

As a stark owner and fan I must say that is very much best case scenario. His first time riding the bike and power set to 48hp. Let him get really comfortable with the bike and set power to 60hp or 65hp where I imagine he'd like it and that battery is toast in 20mins. Put him somewhere slightly softer...

I’ve been seeing on average, 3. Keep in mind I mostly ride on Fridays at Fox/Pala. No telling how many are showing up on the weekend. There is so much bike noise at all times that a generator would be barely heard in the common area of the pits. A motocross track is not a place to go for “quiet time”…
