One issue I heard in passing, about ten minutes before the cancellation came out, was how Dirt Wurx was going to deal with re-routing the "motocross section". Everyone had agreed that section was beyond gone and needed to be cut out to keep racing, which might seem simple to re-route the track right before it left the grandstand area... However, they mentioned they would have to build a section to circumvent over the walls again, and with very muddy dirt. There were talks of running one section the wrong way to re-route a lane, and some other comments. Either way...

If you don't like it, don't watch it. That was one of the most difficult tracks we've seen the top athletes ride. A gimmick is Field running a series that doesn't benefit anyone but them selves. The riders racing actually have a chance for good money. Let's watch the racing and stop complaining.

Embarrassing? It’s a legit safety hazard. Riders have died from lighting. Kid got struck at spring a ding last year

For real! I've experienced being a sail in the wind over a jump, and it spooks the shit out of you. I can't imagine doing that at their pace for half a moto.

You know if Chase says the track is sketchy and Tomac says it’s gnarly, it must be.

I remember when my kids were young and something like weather interfered with something they wanted and they would have a meltdown. You’d try explaining that it’s nobody’s fault, that nobody was trying to ruin their fun, but it was futile - they were going to be mad anyway. I can’t quite put my finger on why but I’m getting that same feeling.
