Just a matter of time before the evil versions of everyone from a different dimension show up with mustaches.

I heard his ex roommates previous dog owner has a delivery guy that has connections.

I said this in June and people thought it was ridiculous: Jorge isn't the type of guy to step outside of his comfort zone to 'force it'. No excuse for what he did at Budds Creek. I think that was a result of a relationship beyond repair. They must separate ASAP...

Seems like the Kawasaki "new 2 stroke" announcement was a strategy to discourage KTM buyers at a critical time.

The book Japan's Motorcycle Wars is really interesting and chronicles events that led to the big 4 (Honda, Yamaha, Suzuki, Kawasaki) being the dominate firms in the motorcycle industry. After hearing those stories of shady business practices from 50 years ago, it's not a stretch to think the "games" are still being played and KTM/Bajaj has joined the fun.

I agree, but as someone who works in an industry that is constantly dealing with ignorant morons spreading BS about it online, I can also see how difficult it would be for these riders to resist posting a “STFU” reply to some of these clowns.

I was wondering when this theory would pop up, that'd be some crazy level corporate game play, and pretty sure illegal on levels. Especially with Kawasaki soon to be going after KTMs two stroke sales whenever they are released. Another one I'm surprised I haven't heard yet is purposefully taking dives to drop his overall odds to make sports bet...
A few years ago people said Mark Marquez was unsafe and had no business even being on a moto GP track because he crashed the Honda at almost every round. Now he’s having an historic year after his switch to Ducati. Prado is not clicking with this bike in that same way Mark couldn’t with his Honda. Even after winning multiple championships on a Honda previously. I’m looking forward to seeing if Jorge can rebound going back to KTM just like Mark has after changing teams.

I know some people have had some complaints about them not using a backboard for potential neck injuries. I've asked about it to some of my medical buddies, and looked into it a bit. I guess they aren't helpful or didn't have any benefit so they did away with them.

I’ve been rooting for Jorge to turn it around, but how can you look at any of the kawi guys after not even qualifying.

Dear AMA Motocross committee, You’ve decided that in 2027 superminis will not be allowed in Women’s class. This effectively will take out half the women’s class locally. Any beginner, intermediate women, or simply anyone advanced who doesn’t want a big bike. There would be no more stepping stone into racing for adult women or anyone not ready for a big bike. This sport is already hard for girls and women as it is, why make it harder? You were not thinking of the local races. Putting someone on a big bike who is not ready or simply just not built...

Yea, SM tracks are not plentiful, that's for sure. I'm in Arizona and we have two kart tracks, and only one has a dirt section and it's poor at best. That being said, Stateline in Nevada was one of the biggest events on the west coast, and it was ran in a parking lot with a badass dirt section built on the side. In 2022 and 2023, we raced at a mx track in Sturgis as part of the AMA series too, with no asphalt. Everyone threw on rain tires and sent it!

Isn't there just an overall lack of supermoto tracks around the US as well? I'm out in the southwestern desert and MX tracks themselves are already 4 hours away usually, as epic as Supermotos are I feel like they are even more hard to find.

Not moto specific, but I'll ask anyways. Why is there no AMA Supermoto series this year? Does the AMA not have the rights? I can't imagine that there isn't at least a handfull of promoters out there that would jump at the opportunity. SMEC, Cascadia, Utah and NASS seem to have full grids, so the racers will show up if there is a series. I did the full series in 2023 and it was the funnest year of racing I've ever done.
