Different riders with different styles so it’s apples to oranges. Not excusing Prado’s lack of effort. It was embarrassing. But if he comes out and wins in the KTM, then it will say a lot about how he (Jorge) vibed with the Kawi.

This is uncomfortable for all parties and none of this is looking favourable for Kawi regardless of the outcome. To put the morality of a signed contract to one side, Kawi look like a bitter ex partner headed for divorce court, and they have Chase coming in- with both of their mental baggage combined, this new relationship feels doomed from the start, especially without a top line number 2 rider to share the load with testing and development. This is why it’s really important to choose diplomacy over being righteous in a professional situation. Probably most situations for that matter. It feels good in the moment to shit on the other party, but rarely does it benefit you in the long run. Prado over extended himself to put it politely and he’s now finding out why that was a mistake.

I'll add that I think most people who say the 350 lacks off the bottom are probably referring to a 22 and earlier model. My 23 and 25 350sxf have more snap and faster throttle response than either my 24 kx450 or my 25 TF450 did off the bottom. Granted the 450's have what I call more midrange balls or torque, but snap at the crack of the throttle the newer 350's have plenty. And im not a lightweight at almost 100kg.
