And yeah I don't disagree, saying Jett is riding at 80% is kinda disrespectful to the other riders, but we for sure don't see him at 100% most of the time.

Jett is faster than everyone else at whatever percentage you want to say they're racing at where they're comfortable with the risk, but that does not mean he's cruising at some percentage of effort less than what everyone else is going at. The fact that he can briefly turn it up to gap someone doesn't change that. Has always driven me nuts they obsess over this like he could just win by a ton more if he wanted to. Some races maybe he could, but if he tried to do that he'd end up on the ground a lot more often and he knows it, so he doesn't. This is not a new concept, he's just faster than everyone, doesn't mean he's cruising. Qualifying also makes this clear. It's not like he's qualifying 2-3 seconds a lap ahead of everyone each week.

I get that they wouldn’t want that on the normal races because they want to relax but they are just sitting there. I’m pretty sure your highest placed privateer would tell you about their race and get their sponsors some screen time. The cameras are clearly already down there
