This has to be rage bait, all outside sports stop because of lightning.

So much for racing in all conditions! Shits a joke everything from the promoters who don’t profit share with the manufacturers or riders, hardly a professional sport when 10 dudes maybe are making a living

Do you not understand they can’t race while it’s still lightning? Do better!

Wait out the lightening, turn the lights on, and race for the fans?

No lights!!! At least for all the sections. Go back and look. I'd rather they do the second motos tomorrow vs not run them but it's not possible.

Glad we didn’t go to Charlotte this year.  I feel terrible for anyone who travelled from out of state or from overseas and only got 50% of the racing they were expecting.  Has to be a better way than this.  It’s hard to take this shit seriously when there’s seemingly no option besides essentially stealing from your fans.

Between lightning and lighting I can see why they would call it. I am disappointed , but they might not have lighting  for the entire track area since they planned on a day race. Mud ,ruts and not enough light are just asking for something to go wrong.

Races have always been stopped for lightning for as long as I remember. It just normally passes by quicker and they are able to restart the races. Being later in the year they have less daylight to work with. And this storm is a monster! It is passing just to the North of me according to the last forecast I saw, but I still have the possibility for tornados most of the night. And flood warnings for most of the northeast tonight.

First race I was at that I remember them delaying was a race at Southwick when lightning hit a telephone pole over by the  Legion , I was in a porta potty and came out and the speaker above was smoking . I followed the wires along from pole to pole and they were also smoking. They still ended up having all the motos that day.

Unfortunately you would be incorrect! I live my life to make this sport better on a local/regional level! I also have a business management degree so I know what the AMA/Feld/MXSports does and doesn’t do! Maybe you need to dig a little deeper
