RobKacp Added a reply to Buying used - what are your pet peeves?
11/3/2013 9:08am Don't ever buy a KTM then....more OEM 13 mm bolts than I have ever seen in my life on both my son's 50SX and my 350.
RobKacp Added a reply to Is MX coaching worth it....
11/3/2013 8:27am I think its worth it. My guy is 7 - although he theoretically listens to me, he learned more in a couple hours of 1 on 1 with our local guy than I imagined. I do agree with MX690 - 1 on 1 is probably more effective. It was all about the fundamentals. He still scares me when he rides...

10/31/2013 11:29am Newmann - just my opinion, but I think wall stuff looks best with a plain black museum type frame. Simple and keeps the focus on the contents. Something like this - http://www.amazon.com/24x36-Black-Picture-Frame-1-25/dp/B003Q2PQ2Q

10/31/2013 11:02am "really fast" is by far the best guarantee of a clapped out POS, followed closely in second by "never raced." Might be just my experience, but when the seller of an MX bike says "the dealer does my maintenance," that's been a pretty solid indicator that all consumables on the bike are roached. Biggest peeve, though, is a bike that...

9/16/2013 7:38am That's some trick stuff, Newmann. Particularly the shiner sticker. I'm adding those to the to-do list.

8/29/2013 5:08am Waiting for my 14 350SX to arrive...finally bit the bullet and went pumpkin. I'm excited to throw a leg over it...
RobKacp Added a reply to 40 year old mxer's?
8/23/2013 3:00pm I'm 43...and I am the youngest of my riding buddies. You're never too old. As others have said...downside is injuries take a heck of a lot longer to heal. Kent Howerton still rides at our local track and kills it at 59.

8/1/2013 3:33pm Holy crap - that's a wicked move at 0:43 for Jerry to avoid a downed rider! Kid has skills. I would have been over the bars.

7/20/2013 8:31pm Thanks for posting the pictures - your bike looks fantastic and brings back great memories of my first KX 125 (a 1985...). The attention to detail is fantastic. Thanks for taking me down memory lane!
RobKacp Added a reply to Question about bike graphics
7/9/2013 1:09pm I had a great experience with Magik SC - http://www.magiksc.com/custom_graphics.html - they put together a set of semi-customs for my RMZ featuring my company's logo. Sent me design proofs, etc. They turned out great and looked super trick.

7/5/2013 3:33pm Maaaannn...that was sick. I can only imagine watching my dude do that. Definitely give you cold sweats...

7/5/2013 8:39am The bikes now are so capable - it gives me palpitations watching my 7 year old flying on his 50....jumping stuff I probably would not have tried when I was 12 or 13 on an 80 (in the 80s).
