JS7 has earned the right do do whatever he wants. His insight is top notch if you care to listen (maybe the white hat is covering your ears) , and he is funny as F. 6/10/2023 2:08pm I think James is awesome in the booth. He can see what the bike is doing and communicate it very well. Yes - he’s not polished yet, but I really enjoy his insight.

6/15/2018 6:43pm I used Takasagos - I wish I kept better notes, but I think I used stock spokes. It’s been a few years and too many beers to remember for sure, but my approach was to use as much stock/NOS as I could find.

6/15/2018 2:47pm Thanks! It’s the original pipe and silencer. Pipe was fairly dented up when I bought the bike, but piperepair.com did a pretty solid job brininging it back to life.

6/14/2018 5:35pm I bought this bike in 2014 and did a complete resto on it. The 87 was my first 250. It’s been in my garage, never ridden, since I finished it a few years ago. Needs to go to a good home to make room for the next project

4/11/2016 6:16am No doubt its a POS carb. Kawi went to the Keihin in 88. Rub for me is keeping the bike as original as possible, but parts do not seem to exist for that particular carb anymore. Even from mikunipower or pjmotorsports.
