Loved his interview where he said he was following James through the field and he said James would pass them clean then when he went to pass the same guys he would smash 'em. lol
Which interview was this? Sounds cool!

From HondaPowersports: Malcolm Stewart is "big smiles" in this short interview that occurred just before he took his first podium aboard the Troy Lee Honda CRF450R at Budds Creek. Not only did Malcolm attain his goal of top 10, he made his career best with third place in Moto 2, and fourth overall.

Mookie stock went up considerably this week
Have to agree with you; do you (or anyone else on here) think that he could get a full time ride w/ TLD in 2014 on the 450??? I know they are only a 250 West Coast Team, but...geez; Honda could have a consistent 5-10 place guy on a good team for a song. In a perfect world, it'd be cool to have him and Christian (Craig) on the 450's full time and have their 250 West Coast guys for SX, and then do a full court press outdoors in both classes. Maybe it's (foolish) wishful thinking on my part...money dictates a lot these days.

Dude was haulin' the mail...... Big props to Malcolm.

Mentioned by someone else but damn, did you guys notice RV go out if his way(it appeared to me) to try and punt Malcolm after Malcolm held his line and bumped RV a bit. Hope it doesn't make him gun shy at all. We need more of that in my opinion. Malcolm didn't do anything dirty, just didn't "roll over".

Malcolm's own words was he was "smashing 'em" coming through the pack as James was passing clean... looks like he can "take it" as well as "dish it out". He's a big boy, don't see him being gun shy smeg Wink

I started to believe in Malcolm the day I heard he was finally jumping up onto the 450. Quite a few guys doubted me , but to me it just made sense. That....and he looks extremely happy to be where he is at right now. Started this a while ago >> http://www.vitalmx.com/forums/Moto-Related,20/You-guys-think-M-Stewart-…

Great job Malcolm!

Still though....I'm happy for the kid! he looks like he's having a blast out there and he seems to fit the TLD team really well.

I've commented for the last couple years that he appears to have a better style on the bike than James. Just keeping it upright and getting him off the little 250 were all that were needed.
