I think it's an absolute joke 250 two strokes aren't allowed to race against 250 four strokes at the professional SX and MX levels. 125's v. 250F's isn't even close (which is how it's currently setup) nor is 250 2st v. 450F's. Let 250's all race together and bring some fucking excitement, intrigue, crazy upsets, and storylines to the board. What is there a worry that Factory TLD/KTM is going to roll up on 250SX's and smoke the field? Really? Professional racing has dealt with 'different engine types' at the very highest levels of motorsport and they've all figured it...

Damn thing wouldn’t turn worth a shit. I always had to find something to bounce it off of to get it to turn on intermediate to hardpack. The motor was awesome, vibration wasn’t.

Copperhead baby struck my wife in the boot 2 days ago. I yelled "snake!" and she thought I was joking. Pushed her enough to have her rubber patch above the sole get hit so no penetration. (I posted this in the wrong thread earlier but...) The rule, like all rules, isn't perfect but it's easy to interpret for a rider in the instant. It won't always be 100% fair, which is regrettable, but you also don't want a situation where a rider is rushing to cut back onto the track dangerously because they're worried about being penalised. If the rider is clearly trying to act in good faith to the rule and his competition; then it's a legit way to deal with a difficult situation in racing. I have been in your spot with two of my boys. The training wheels were a bad idea for us, they only work on flat, straight surfaces. They make the bike into a kinda wobbly three-wheeler. I rushed it with my first kid, and he lost confidence and didnt want to ride for awhile afterwards. Depends on the kid obviously, but I'd hold off on the training wheels and say if you want to ride the dirtbike better start practicing on the bicycle.

It's the KTM brand as a whole. Whether you do or don't like the bikes or the orange color scheme or whatever, every moto person should love that company for their full commitment to all forms off road motorcycling in general. That organization is all in and it's no surprise they went after Roger D.
