2/23/2022 2:56pm I'd run at least the xc gear bar clamp. That's the difference mxa noticed in vibration from the honda to the kx engine. Same chassis.

I grew up racing in SoCal in the early 90s. It wasn’t unusual to see 2 full gates in the beginner class. With Yamaha offering $500 per racing in contingency, you better believe the beginner class was fast. Enter him in beginner. After he starts winning, move up to C.

I had a total knee (Journey knee) replacement in April of 2018 and was racing six weeks after surgery. Since then I've raced post vintage MX, cross country, mad dog, competed in vintage trials and rode some dual sport in the desert. I've had several harsh hits on my foot that jarred my whole body and thought Oh crap that had to mess it up. I was wrong, and after a couple of Ibuprofen the next day it was fine. It takes a long while to get the muscles built back up, I would say a year to be 100%...

I have a buddy that has had both knees completely replaced. He is 62 or so and races many weekends in the 60 expert class. Says his knees feel so much better than years past and still feel good after riding. He took the rehab very serious and is then type to do things right.

Justin Hill on a JGR Suzuki sent something huge many years ago as well as Baggett at a different race....both of which I'm not sure anyone else was doing. Don't remember details but that sticks with me for reason.

GSS was the best preseason series MX around from the '70s thru at least the '90s to participate in or spectate factory, support and top local Pros and upcoming Amateur prospects. Thanks CMC and the Peters family for promoting high quality Pro and Amateur GSS racing for so long. It was a blast.
