Probably a long shot but I am looking for hand orthopedic surgeon recommendations (preferably someone who deals with athletes) . Looking for someone I can trust. My past surgeries I haven't had the best doctors....

Thank you in advance

If your willing to travel to Fremont Dr Ting is one of the best for action sports people. He did an amazing job on my wrist and I traveled from San Diego knowing he's that good.
With a complex joint like a wrist you want the best guy.

Franklin gets another vote. He’s fixed a number if my broken moto buddies. I’m an anesthesiologist and work with him frequently. We see quite a few “pro”
moto, Bmx, and MTB riders.

Dr. Tooma is your guy. he did an amazing job on my shoulder after i ripped a plate out of my collar bone in a crash. I needed 3 cadavers and a partial reconstruction. i have full range of motion now and i couldnt be happier. also he put a couple screws in my ankle back in 2013. i was under his knive twice that year lol

Newport Orthopedic Institute: Tze C. Ip, MD

Dr. Ip is one of the very best hand surgeons in SoCal.

Look for Doc's that did fellow ships at the Steadmen clinic in Colorado or the Jobe clinic in LA. Folks that did training at these Clinics are typically good. Of course check references too.

Not all doc's are good. Lots of hacks out there. So be wise.. ask around. Same name should pop up many times.

Man, to be 40 and live in OC is to know most of this freaking list!
I've seen Franklin, Tooma and Tze.
Luckily my wrists are good.
