It would be interesting to know exactly how the money flows in this sport, and it’s semi-surprising that no “journalist” has taken the time to dig for this dirt. But tbh, what would the audience/readers do with this knowledge? It would, at most, fan the flames on discussion boards and podcasts… and that’s it. So it’s fairly pointless for someone...

That sounds like something an informed insider journalist could or would do, not a know nothing fan. A fan would just be guessing for much more of the equation than an informed unbiased journalist of the sport.

Did he call the race in 2011? Because he doesn’t call the race in 2024… was this always the case? It’s hilarious how they now actually broadcast an audio only version of the broadcast when there’s no change you could follow what’s happening in a race… CALL THE DAMN RACE!!

Should not be legal to advertise them. I thought Dr.s were not supposed to reward patients with a prescription for the drugs they ask for. Isn't that Drug seeking . Being hurt with Health insurance , and then being hurt without insurance showed me a window into how messed up the system is. Insurance co's only pay a % of a bill, so then You get Bills raised up so that the Dr.s get paid what they need to be paid. And it just goes crazy from there.

Could be why 75% of the night time advertising on the legacy TV networks is sponsored by Big Pharma. Here's list of current drugs being advertised. Ask yourself when was the last time you saw one of these commercials. And then ask yourself "If I NEED a drug, why are they having to ADVERTISE it to me?" Veozah Dupixent Qlipta Rinsupra Xiidra Rexulty Bimzelx Vraylar Breztri Wegovy Jardiance Austedo Mounjaro Zepbound Vabysmo Bimzelx Preznar Vygart keytruda Farsiga Ozempic Uqora Optivo Yervoy Farsenra Nurtek Arexvy Syfovre Veozah Preznar

You guys have a very large scale car manufacturing industry; no reason someone couldn’t be manufacturing motorcycles as well.

Yes, the Japanese, Austrian, British and Italian manufacturers have production facilities in Asia, you know what they build over there? Cheap 125s, scooters and small bore road or trail motorcycles, those that I've mentioned are the most sold motorcycles in the World, their high end Products (600/1000cc sports and Naked bikes, Big bore Trail bikes and more importantly their Motocross and Enduro bikes) are made on their homeland, the average Motocross riders wants quality, no matter the price, KTM or Honda will be damn sure that the bike that Chase or Jett rides has been built under extreme quality control...

I feel like it's an open secret at this point that the OEM's killed the 2-stroke. It's a shame they did, but it’s been almost a quarter century now, maybe it's time to let it go.

Yeah and they're done riding and training by 1pm because of the heat and the afternoon thunderstorms...I can guarantee you that nobody is riding in the late afternoon during the hottest parts of the day...when the actual races would be going on, they are home in their pools or in the comfort of their air conditioned homes....

It's the moto way - just keep jacking up the prices until business slows down. I remember when you could get a pipe, silencer and porting done for less than that.

Because I always look at both sides, I'm somewhat with him on the heat being an issue. Being a member of a thriving off road organization in Florida I know a lot of guys didn't want to go to WW Ranch because of the heat. I camped there and my one air conditioner on my 30 foot camper could not keep it comfortable, and I burned out a Predator 3500 generator. I had to go buy another generator or my dog would have died. The heat in Florida in the summer is no joke.

Soooo… if the “too hot” argument were being made for the benefit of the athletes, you’re right. Many of them live and train there. But I think the concern is about ticket sales. Sure, you listed some other sports and amusement parks that are successful despite the conditions, but none of those facilities are as ill-prepared to protect the audiences...
