Which begs the question if a majority think this (I would wager most Americans are fed up with the govt) why can’t (don’t we) we do anything about it. I believe most of us are smart enough to know that both sides are trying to put us against each other to keep their power. Why do we allow it and what would a revolution look like?

As someone who looks for land to have their own moto ranch to ride on, it would be nice to have quieter bikes where you could buy 15or 20 acres and not worry about the house beside it complaining about the noise. Not interested in electric bikes at this time.

Case in point, the track should that have made that jump a double. Tabletops or camelbacks work just as well if not better. Nobody is going to hurt themselves badly on a very small double (15ish feet or under) but big gaps should always be filled in, no choice

Ranking which sports are more dangerous really misses the point. Sure, other sports and activities are dangerous too, but the issue this sport seems to have more than most is either denial or a fatalistic response instead of trying to make improvements. Honestly, that was a well researched and written article. I was not expecting to see drawings of ruts and whoops in a mainstream media article about motocross. Obviously the subject matter is bleak but less of a shock to us. I've said for years if actual data was compiled on both fatal injuries and severe life changing injuries (spine, neck, etc) people would open their eyes but I think our sport is just used to seeing it so often at this point which is sad.

No group needs to be recognized. It doesn’t bring anyone together. What brings us together is the sport itself, no matter your ethnicity, race, etc.

My deal with buying or not buying a KTM is ethical. These people fucked over banks, suppliers, and worse employees. Why would you support these business practices? I own a business myself and I would be God Damned if I took money from my business while laying off or not paying people who depend on me. Or made decisions to jeopardize my employee's income. Completely disagree, the ability maintain good lap times on a hammered track is exactly what separates the elite riders from the rest. Yeah they need to do track prep but knocking everything flat means everyone is doing the same lines in the same way which is very boring to watch. It's not core fans that fill the baseball and football stadiums during supercross. Yes they are there but there's a hell of a lot of other casual spectators too.
