What really sucks about this injury and makes it such a gut punch, is the timing. It's Austin Forkner-esque -- right as Jo Shimoda finally seemed to turn a corner, win his first major championship, and silence the doubts of his ability to handle pressure, he gets hit with the worst injury of his career. Absolutely heartbreaking. I hope that this won't take too much of a mental toll on him, so that he can come back swinging in full force come outdoors in 2026.

The usual British optimism shining through. The VMX race held there is huge so I'm thinking the size of the circuit/grounds isn't an issue. I was there in 98 and I don't remember it being cramped. As for weather, if that's an issue then GB should never get a GP. Would that be better? And as for the soil, I heard the guys on the GP circuit are pretty fair riders...they'll figure it out.

I wouldnt expect him to race sx at all. Hopefully ready for the nats.

I think after him and his wife split up he pretty much went offline. Last I remember he had to leave the homestead in afton and was living somewhere up in the mountains between greenville, tn and asheville. I am not sure anybody that has been here less than 10 years could survive a hillbilly rant. Man, if somebody got him and pro125 on a podcast a lot of heads might explode.

1. Cooper Webb doesn’t win a race in SX or MX, and doesn’t get a podium either 2. Chase doesn’t win any SX races but he wins a couple outdoors beating Jett straight up 3. (As sad as this makes me) Tomac doesn’t win ANY races, but he does get SUPER close it a couple times. 4. Prado surprises all of us, and grabs some consistent podiums in outdoors. 5. Deegan podiums outdoors consistently every time but can’t crack Jett or chase.
