Interesting insight from Mitch about the pipe. Always cool to know what they were doing on those old factory bikes. I’d assume they would update the number on the pipe over the old one they were selling. I had no idea the RV2 pipe became the rack pipe on the 22+ YZ125 until ML512 mentioned it in their YZ125 mod build.

I haven't listened to pulp in nearly a year, so I'll need to check it out. I've tried all of the American company pipes and the regular PC is the worst (FOR ME). All top end, loses a ton of bottom. It's hard to ride unless you like riding your 250 like a 125. I'm not that good. FMF may as well be stock (which is good!). Maybe has a hint more bottom to mid. Bill's is hands down the best. I could simply say "better everywhere", but it's probably just same bottom as stock, more mid, more top. Hopefully...

I talked a bot into making an ELO score calculator for whatever race data gets imported. Sample data available all AMA PRO MX races overalls 1972-2025. There is an export function for the raw data and/or the calculated results. The table of data can be viewed in the site without exporting though. After I got a result as did the only sane thing and asked based on the all data and metrics who is the GOAT of MX. If you took the time to respond to this thread you should see this is the conversation from last year. Since the only exception to this rule is the round I'm going to, I brought it back with a pretty valid question about what has changed since 10 years ago and is it worth it. Damn I forgot how sensitive this place can be for a bunch of dudes that ride dirt bikes.

There’s probably someone in the C suite that has a nephew that races flat track or something along those lines. That’s the way it usually works. Edit- Just looked it up. Juan Gonzalez, CEO of Mission Foods is an enthusiast and former racer himself.
