The cowboy schtick is cheesy but AP has had a very successful Mx/Sx career so far…..hopefully he heals up and gets ready for Nationals…..but Gncc sweep rider would be good gig😂….

I must have watched a short excerpt; they were only talking about bike setup.

Yeah, but every reporter who covers a niche beat is faced with this same dilemma. It's a different scenario for reporters who cover ball and stick sports. Those beats are big enough to support unabashed journalism without repercussions to the reporter. Lewis knows there's a difference between legitimately calling out Pelletier for making bad calls and impugning his character. Pelletier knows by now that he screwed up here, so I think he would have to respect Lewis' honest take on the implications of these bad calls.

I think he's being paid to be a top contending rider indoors and out, and first year he's expected to win, more than once. No top guy signs a new deal and gets a test year.

Missed 12 races since start of 22 season. List for me the guys who have raced more than him over that time period.

The championship pressure is off. I think he'll do really good this weekend, probably even win. Next weekend he'll feel the pressure to follow up his performance, do something erratic, and the bike setup roulette resumes

I would think he'd be cheered more than usual. Having a top guy return under most circumstances is something most (including me) should be really happy about.

There’s a huge difference in JL18’s and HD38’s mantra. That’s why nobody talks about it, cause there isn’t anything to talk about.

Well he’s won every single title available to him short of switching to MXGP. He’s already fifth on the all time MX wins list, and with another three wins he’ll enter the top 10 all time wins list combined SX/MX. If he rides until he’s 30 like the current crop of champions he’ll be top three or better in pretty much every category.

Yeah I remember people saying James was going to smoke RV once he moved to 450's. That sure worked out didn't it? Jett would be right there with those two alternating wins.

I appreciate the skill & speed of riders like Jett Lawrence or Haiden Deegan…but although everyone bags on Deegs for his cockiness, why no response to Jett’s recent comments…?

There is a proposed track and training facility in Volusia County Florida which is the county where Daytona Beach is located. Until now this has looked like a slam dunk, and it was progressing through the purchase of the property and now that they are in the final stages the vocal minority of tree huggers has gone full court press to try to stop this. What I need from the moto community is writing emails to the county commissioners as potential visitors who will be spending a lot of money in the area. Below is a link to the Facebook...
