Bingo, and I think the manufactors are up for something like that. Five races to add to the Supercross scheduel and then scrap the AMA MX series. That is what I am hearing. Imagine it, five races like the MXoN was in Budds Creek, new venues, big sponsorship and television. Would kick the daylights out of what you are seeing...

I think this is what the whole world have been waiting for. A World Supercross series in OZ, Japan, Europe, America. FTE, I think the combining of the World Supercross and World Motocross is an awesome idea. It would bring back the Trans-AMA formula and give the American riders a shorter season (assuming the American riders would only do the two USGPs). Everyone wins this way. No doubt the best riders in the world are in America. Last weekends podium finishers Cody Cooper and Micheal Byrne showed that at the 2007 MXoN. Cooper from memory was 17th in Saturday timed practise and finished 12th in his qualification race and Byrne finished third in his saturday qualification race, beating Yoshi Atsuta and Julien Bill in the process...
