Not claiming to be in the know here, but is it possible that there were seperate offers here, one directly from Yamaha and another from L/M San Manuel? If Reed and L/M could not agree on something, they end up taking Stewart. Yamaha could have still come to Reed directly right? Maybe that is some of the grey area here. L/M having both 22 and 7 in the same truck, that was never a possibility was it?
