It could be a demographic shift as well. Those who would usually spend 10-20k on a family vacation for the summer are forced to stay home, so they have a lot of disposable income to spend. Couple that with most kids sports teams not running meaning more time and money saved, and people will look to whatever is available to keep the family and kids occupied. Moto/cycling/watersports are basically the only option right now.

Not sure who you mean is an idiot. Kenny is a smart guy...and like many riders before him that have been injured badly they start thinking about 'why' they are still out there doing this. Canard is one, said he started riding scared. And that near-crash at SLC #1 could very well be making Ken think 'why' is he still out there? Dungey had that happen after he got hurt. Hannah even said he started thinking that way. That is why Windham quit a while after a big crash.

Retirement? That’s seven+ years out. On the other hand, my girlfriend is nine years younger than I am, so I’ll need to stay busy until she’s ready to retire, herself. Sean has the testing and product side handled. I’m sure we’ll find someone to handle the racing side when the time comes.
