Eli will probably bring home the championship, but for the effort roczen is putting in, i'd like he win the championship too.
That said, when is eli going to retire? After this summer? Or end of 2021?
Or retiring in the middle of the season?
Tomac is gonna race past 30, if he does not get another kid

Going to go out on a limb and say it won't be an epic mudder. Race time is 3 PM local and most point forecasts have the showers chances dropping in the afternoon on Sunday.

But I was at Vegas in 2016 so I know how these things can change quickly.

Colorado springs this time of year is guaranteed shower around 3 PM. Since SL is in another time zone and has pretty much same climate (Rocky MNT's)....it's a crap shoot.
If they are claiming 80% rain today ( For Sunday) You can bet it will be much different tomorrow

That's the thing with Utah weather though, it'll switch up on you in the blink of an eye. It just started raining here in downtown and it's supposed to rain throughout the night & into tomorrow.

It may rain hard here or there for a few minutes, but without a cutoff low that just keeps feeding rain to one spot it’ll be a bunch of fence line weather.

I wonder if it is a mudder how they go turning the track around for the next race if the dirt is water logged
Judging by so far, it'd be dry by the next morning. Wink

It's blowing like crazy right now, and there have been some storms in the area. The track's already covered.

It's gonna be muddy, but not a full on MUDDER. Utah dirt doesn't hold moisture well as you saw in SLC 1. First few qualifiers are going to be fun to watch Unsure

Dirt's gonna be slippery/slimy, especially on the jump faces. Could definitely play a factor. I have to believe Tomac isn't still the favorite. The dirt at SLC is very similar to the dirt in his backyard as is the elevation. Of course, anything can happen. Tomac just needs to keep the rubber side down and be consistent. These conditions favor a lot of riders: Barcia, Plessinger, Kenny, Eli are all good mud/slippery condition riders.

I just posted a revised practice schedule. There's a single round of practice/qualifying.

That storm rolled in quick, I went on a mtb ride at 7:30am and by 10 it was dark, windy and brewing for some rain and hail.

This is the most confusing thing I’ve read in a while..
