1/6/2026 10:34am Agreed!! I get the grief and all that( my little brother died at 21 years old) it sucks bad!! This year was his 21st anniversary of being dead at 21 years old. My parents and the rest of us will never be the same, so I understand the grief involved. It’s not like the Zinggs didn’t know the risk involved, being the parents of a pro amateur team green rider and all. It sounds to me like they caught a case of the ambulance chaser lawyer influenza during their anger stage of grief. Realizing that they can at least collect...

1/6/2026 10:32am I’ve been racing mammoth for 13 years straight and that race is far and away the most well run and, importantly here, flagged race I’ve ever been to. I’m disgusted by the actions of the Zingg family, absolutely tragic loss for them but you simply cannot hold, 2x, mammoth and fox responsible for any part of this. I just rewatched and uploaded the first couple laps of this years race, on my second lap from start to finish I counted 40 flaggers or medics on the track, they are literally every 10-20 yards. If you, the courts, a jury, or...

1/6/2026 10:29am It's not insurance filing this. Absent life insurance, the insurance cost here is next to nothing. Not at all worth them going after the cost of an ambulance ride and very short ER visit. If the family wanted transparency and change this is not how you get it. If they wanted transparency they could discuss what they have learned about it publicly or in more productive forums than a deposition room. They may be telling themselves that's what this is about, but they're going to find out real quick this is just going to turn into lawyers arguing over a...

1/3/2026 8:18am Geezuz...I feel for the kid and his family but damn, motocross as we know is dangerous. To go after the organization, track, staff etc ain't gonna bring him back. One day we ain't going to have any tracks left.

8/20/2025 5:16pm “I can’t go to every kid on the line and go ‘hey man, I’m sorry, hey man, I’m sorry’” You can’t, but what you could’ve done instead is not cheated. The mental gymnastics are crazy here, you robbed second place of a win, third place of a second, and fourth place a spot on the podium in front of their families. Robbed children of these moments. If you didn’t expect him to win, why bother cheating? What’s the difference between an honest 10th and a cheater 8th? I’m sure a lot of these sentiments have been echoed through this thread...

8/20/2025 5:14pm Ray came off as an unapologetic moron. It sucks for the kid who finished 4th and missed his podium interview but it sucks more for the kid who missed the event entirely by finishing on the bubble at the regional. Ray's lack of integrity cost some kid a lifetime memory. He's not sorry it happened, he's embarrassed that he got caught.

8/20/2025 5:11pm To be honest, I don't think Keefer comes off looking much better than ray. to Steve when Steve said he could not ever remember cheating in moto "oh, okay, so you never cheated, well, have you ever lied?" It is not so much a condemnation of moto but what society is becoming as a whole. It is sad. Hopefully for the Rays, the people that make excuses justifying their behavior, and people that use them to train in preparation for big am events the cost down the road will be getting more scrutiny, and perhaps more protests, that might finally...

6/4/2024 3:20pm Dear Rich Taylor, Let’s get one thing clear….you are no longer part of my motocross family. If you sued on behalf of your son’s interests, maybe it’s reasonable to take responsibility for his interests when entering a motocross race. Sincerely, Tristan Callahan Ps. MainEventMoto pinned HRC Jordon Troxell’s comment on the video of the Bar X Suzuki Tyler incident. He clarifies about people walking trackside as well as the flagger. Then he goes on to blame the rider for not knowing/walking the track. It appears that the industry has a general expectation that is put on the riders (or their...

6/4/2024 8:20am So he sued a track. The important part of the claim was accurate. That’s inexcusable to me. He was at the track if he felt it wasn’t safe he shouldn’t have let his kid race. Period. This should be the beginning of the end for x brand.
