I’ve been racing mammoth for 13 years straight and that race is far and away the most well run and, importantly here, flagged race I’ve ever been to. It's not insurance filing this. Absent life insurance, the insurance cost here is next to nothing. Not at all worth them going after the cost of an ambulance ride and very short ER visit. Ray came off as an unapologetic moron. It sucks for the kid who finished 4th and missed his podium interview but it sucks more for the kid who missed the event entirely by finishing on the bubble at the regional. Ray's lack of integrity cost some kid a lifetime memory. He's not sorry it happened, he's embarrassed that he got caught.

most these kids have been racing/training since 5. hes doing pretty good for the age he is at, and the amount of riding he’s done. Sounds like they’ve only taken it serious the last year or two.

So he sued a track. The important part of the claim was accurate. That’s inexcusable to me. He was at the track if he felt it wasn’t safe he shouldn’t have let his kid race. Period. This should be the beginning of the end for x brand.
