Mx286 Added a reply to RM 250 VS CR 250
3/16/2018 3:42pm I’ve owned both bikes. Currently have a 06 CR 250. RM- Very good bike. Great motor and handling. Only thing to watch out for on them is the transmission. We had a 07 & 08 and they both after getting some hard riding on them started to pop in and out of the gears. CR- Another good bike. Handles just...

3/14/2018 1:53pm Yea I’d like to see all these “Do or Die” jumps everyone is talking about.

3/12/2018 9:45am If I’m not mistaken I think I heard on Pulp they were talking about how he preferred more stock components instead of titanium. For example the engine hangers changing the feeling of the chassis. Someone correct me if I’m wrong but I think that’s what they said.

Mx286 Added a reply to Pro Circuit Ti-6 Sytem for CRF 250 '18....HEAVY !!
3/4/2018 5:17am Nope that exhaust isn’t going to make that big of a difference, but spread the power around where the person might want it. I agree saving weight is good. We’re talking just a couple lbs on a exhaust not 25. Back to my original post, what’s the point in spending big $$ to try and get to that 25 lbs...

3/3/2018 10:45pm So if you save 1 lb on a pipe your going to be able to tell a huge difference and it’s going to magically not make you as tired? I’ve ridden plenty of light bikes.
Mx286 Added a reply to Hmmmm Sipes
3/3/2018 2:51pm Seriously? He’s a pro rider and will never be eligible to ride the B class ever again.

3/3/2018 6:38am This guy gets it. Unless your building a full blown race bike for a serious racer, what’s the point? Never understood why people spend so much money to save just a few lbs when it’s not going to gain hp or make them a bit faster. Want a light bike, go get a KTM.

2/26/2018 6:56pm I called Factory Connection and they told me that the forks would work on my 06 CR250, but the shock wouldn’t. There’s guys on here I’ve seen that made the shock work, not exactly sure how they did it though.

2/25/2018 8:01am Hard to compare a factory bike to the bike available to the average consumer. The stock 450 is not a bad bike at all, BUT compared to all the other stock 450’s it ranks where it should in the shootouts. I was really let down the first time I rode one. Considered buying one before hand. Corners well but that’s...

2/15/2018 6:17pm Forks will work. As for the shock I’ve seen where people have made it work but will take some type of modification. You’d have to search for some info on that.
Mx286 Added a reply to craving a two stroke. (yamaha or ktm)
2/13/2018 4:49am Where did you see these numbers? That’s interesting because when riding it feels like the KTM blows the YZ out of the water, both in stock trim.
