That's his schtick for sure. Aplman has always been like that. You could say the sky is blue and he would argue with you about it. 🙄 He will then go to his google-nator and come up with a pie chart or bar graph to prove his theory. I've often wondered if he's like that in real life with friends. If so I imagine his friend base is rather small. Cause personally, I do not like to hang around with "know it all's" whether it was work or just out having fun like riding dirtbikes which we know he does...

Growing up in the 70's, small town east Texas, feral is the correct word. We had a neighborhood store, the white store because it was white, that was our meet up place. We would get there any way we could, bicycles, skateboards, minibikes, go carts, walk, free ride from a neighbor. We would collect soda bottles, mow yards, wash cars, relocate/kill venomous snakes, whatever an adult would pay us for to get some change so we could get a Coke, Snickers, gas, and play one of the two arcade games there...Joust and Space Invaders. Say what you want but that was an epic rookie season. To go reverse perfect season your rookie year is rarefied air. Not many greats have done it. Ken roczen couldnt do it he had 5 overalls and 8 moto wins his rookie year in 2014. Tomac couldnt do it, in 2014 he had 1 overall win. Chase sexton couldnt in 2020, he had 1 overall. Jett lawrence obviously couldnt in 2023, he had 11 wins for 22 overalls so he lost every moto of his reverse perfect season. Hunter lawrence couldnt, in 2024 he had 3 moto wins. Not...

I was so surprised by how Weege just couldn't seem to understand what the issue is when it's been discussed at length time and time again across multiple platforms. But I feel like the sentiment some of these guys show sometimes toward fans online (on Vital, social media, etc) can be so dismissive... it's like they're writing off the biggest, most tuned-in focus group they could ask for, that's literally at their fingertips, all because of the 10% of trolls and assholes that just talk shit. If this were the standard in the 90s we never would have had a James and we never would have had a Ricky. Both were poor kids with insane talent. You want to frame it more as a business than a sport, and that's fine, but it shows where your values lie. If the trend continues, we will deserve to lose to the Euros, as we continue to artificially restrict the effective talent pool for the enrichment of one family.

And that isn't news worthy? I don't understand the slew of media types we have in this sport and it takes a teenage participant of the sport to blow the whistle on promoters or whomever taking more than 7 weeks to pay them. Anyone think Walmart or McDonalds could skip paying people 7 weeks and it would go unreported? Thanks for the "We've known all along" insight ML. Maybe it is no big deal making the riders wait to get purse money when entry fees are absolutely up front. Unreal.
