I'm shocked that Lotte is there, i just don't understand how that is a good idea with what i assume zero prep and experience on a SX style track. The risks are massive and what are the potential gains in this? Well anyways, i hope she's okay and i hope the other riders manage to get through this in one piece.

There were days where Ducati wanted to test and he had to tell them no because he needed more time to recover. It didn't help that Barcia was injured for part of the year as well. Besides the Ducati money issues, he also wasn't sure if he wanted to sign up to race another 31 races next year.

Weege was talking about it on Pulp and said he didnt want to do all the testing that came with a new bike either. He just wanted to race. They talked about the bike having a really small window, at the moment, to get the settings right. Small changes just threw everything off

It’s not the bike, it’s the team and the riders. Remember the problems the factory Yamaha US team had? You only have to look at how they’re doing now with Star. And Honda—just because they have the Lawrence brothers now... but they went 20 years without winning. Sometimes, it all comes down to having the right rider at the right time. This is motocross, not MotoGP.

2 modern day legends of the sport are retiring this weekend and to me, them going out at this gimmicky smx finale is so anticlimactic and underwhelming. I feel both guys aren't big on the limelight and don't want to make it about them, but the traditional final outdoors round of the year would be a much better send off for them. Or am I just thinking too much into this?

The official deal is he has two years left on his Kawi contract....everything else is just speculation mixed in with crazy theories...everything indicates he's staying put....

Yeah he was impressive. I figured he would simply continue with CAT Moto but havnt heard anything. Gatedrop rumoured that team to do MX2 with one rider so maybe with him?

I always liked rooting for Dylan. Guy was a total beast. We got lucky to have him at his best in America. Cheers to a great career and all your accomplishments.

His 450 championship season was awesome, but I think finishing 2nd to Jett in '23 on a bike he was very vocal about not liking was almost just as impressive. Congrats on the great career, Dylan, and enjoy retirement.

I think Dylan is underrated. Most people only think about his 450 title. He was crazy good from 2019 - 2021. 2 West coast titles 19 & 20, 250 outdoor title in 20 and the 450 in 21. All he needed was the 450 SX title. Congratulations Dylan and have a great retirement.

I'll never forget seeing Eli go full "real" beast mode to catch up to Dyaln at Washougal 2021, then Dylan wicked it up and just straight up held him off. Beat Eli at his best.

His 450 title is one of the most underrated titles in the modern history. He absolutely laid a beatdown on guys like Tomac and Roczen.

Not surprised but still sucks to hear that. Since 22 I've been hoping to see the 21 Dylan back. I still watch back races from that year today, he was so damn fun to watch. Congrats on a great career!
