My 25 Husk came with a 47 as listed in the manual and yes you spend more time in 2nd gear than 3rd. The 300 lugging thru turns doesn't happen for me with a 47 tooth. Only 6hrs on the bike and I can tell the chain and sprockets won't be on it much longer from chain stretch and rear sprocket wear.

I expected issues for a first year model from a boutique Italian manufacturer, but the main areas of the bike are really good. Motor, chassis, suspension, and brakes are all superb. Considering there are less than 500? of these bikes in the wild, and most people dont ride for an hour or more without stopping, I'm not surprised this issue is only now surfacing. Unfortunately my stepper motor reset hack didn't resolve the issue. At 40-45 minutes the throttle response started to lag, and as I kept going it started to bog/stall, but only at initial throttle opening. Considering Jared...

tried both, love the at82 front, my new go to tire!

I raced with a at82 front this last weekend. I wasn't in sand, but it was soft/intermediate terrain with lots of tree roots. Tillamook state forest in the PNW. I really liked the front and I'd take it over a mx34 front any day. The 80/100-21 size seemed narrower on the at82 than the same size mx34. Not sure how the 90/100-21 would look next to the 80/100-21 MX34, might be closer or maybe a little fatter

Another vote to round-file the Maxxis garbage. I have a 21.5 KTM and my dad bought a 22 (or 23…can’t recall but same bikes) MC450…I couldn’t believe how bad those tires were compared to my bike with the Dunlops. As far as air forks, I swapped to 6500’s on mine…if I’d have ridden dads bike first I would’ve just revalved mine and stayed with air. They are really good.

Tires, air filters and oil changes. This is my strategy. When it wears out I'll grab a fresh one. I'm slow, but the air forks are fine for plenty of riders of different levels.

You're never too young to start blasting white monsters and skipping breakfast.

Are these just open MX rides or is racing involved? Suspension (I stuck with the air forks, I actually like them), tires, and seat time.

That bike doesn’t “need” spring forks, especially if you’re riding 2-4 times a month. Honestly, it doesn’t really need anything, but if you’re fishing for the best mods… Tires (the maxxis aren’t great), ethanol free fuel (to keep things clean while the bike sits), and maybe a bar pad because the GG pad is basically non existent. IMO, a vortex by xpr/twisted is the best bang for your buck, but it’s not cheap, and it’s not necessary.

My 23 300Sx came with 14/49… I ended up with a 50 rear to use 3-4th more, I can lug or rev 3rd gear almost everywhere..I ride alot of sand and gncc type woods courses…the 25 300sx I just picked up came with 14/47…that 47 rear will never be used by me…I dont want to be tryin to make 2nd my main gear on an bike with 50 h/p…

I'll agree with Mr. Plump (...how did you get that name?). My GG would drag and stall when I put it in gear. I pretty much just accepted it honestly.

One of the most interesting posts in a long time. Yes, where are the performance charts? This is easy to obtain, compare. Where are the published weights? If it shaves off 400 grams, is the average rider going to notice in any way? Maybe only their wallet. Also, why does a little single cylinder exhaust system cost $400 more than a full Borla twin Cat system for my 6.2 Camaro?

IMO largest waste of money in the sport.

Have been using for years. Quality product, no issues. TUV tested which is a bonus.
