Smart move by both parties. KTM saves themselves money to someone who's mentally not really into the outdoors this season, and Coop gets to start preparing on the Yamaha for the SMX playoffs. I can't see Coop wanting to skip those, if for nothing more than to get some pre-season prep on the Yamaha, but the money doesn't hurt either. I wouldn't be surprised if he's allowed to race a couple rounds of the WSX series as a special invited (not-team) guest like Tomac did last year.

I missed nothing. The current machine is a far cry from the KTM that he had the majority of his success.

Are you saying an overall win is somehow diminished if it isn't a 1-1? This class is deep with talent, not going to be many clean scores this year if any. Hunter is the class of the field and he doesn't have a 1-1 this year.

I mean is Haidan Deegan really going to be our 250 rider for MX of nations? Why does he seem like one of the more in control riders out there - and hes a rookie. Its beyong impressive at this point. I feel like we are starting to assume already its where he belongs...I really think hes already beat his season hype right? ive been very impressed, even with the few rookie moves on his teammates in SX, or i think we had one outdoors too with looking back, but even him and Christian Craig talked about it on most...

If I was only able to watch one series, it'd be MX, end of story.

To be honest and fair, I was all tuned into watching red bud and it was great. I seen highlights of wsx and… well it didn’t do it for me. I wish them luck, but I don’t see it.

It would be so nice to see 21 Dylan and 22 chase show up for the second half of the season. Both those guys can challenge Jett.

IMO, if Ferrandis can get the bike dialed in, he and Chase can give Jett a run.

Hard to get excited when his main competition is Marchbanks and Masterpool and an out of the retirement home Kenny.

Not sure if this is the answer you are looking for, but as they say....doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result sure isn't working......The kid is loaded with talent. Recall how competitive he was against Sexton at one point. Who knows. Might end up working out. If it doesn't, easy to go a different direction.

Do you work for Suzuki's marketing department? Joking aside, what you've described is basically what an RMZ is today... the cheapest bike with the least amount of tech/upgrades, and still capable of winning apparently.

Bit late to the thread, but here's my take anyway. And yes I'm an Aussie Lawrence fan...but I don't think what Deegan did was dirty by any means I just think it was dumb and immature. Your only 10 mins into a 30 minute moto and your playing " silly games " looking behind way too many times and not racing forward etc etc . Deegan has way too much talent to be doing that and should have taken it as a learning curve and learn from one of the best. By no means just roll over and let him...

'21 Ferrandis would challenge Jett. Shoot Dylan from the MXdN was the fastest guy at the whole event. His results didn't show it. Healthy Sexton would challenge Jett.

About 20 years ago… A young dude was kicking everyone’s ass & a lot of people complained that he was too cocky in the podium... I think he eventually ran number 4…for a while.

He gets plenty of love from people too, I have become a fan of his racing he is an animal on the track and you can see from how he attacks the track how much he wants to win. It is fun to watch.
