He's going to surprise a lot of people this year, this is the first time in his career that he has good equipment. Maybe I’m wrong but I see very little if any disdain for Jett himself. Seems some people have grown tired of the constant media coverage he and his brother receive but I think that’s to be expected.

Things get really messy right the as they merged with Valli for a year then it collapsed. Jeremy Martin was also someone who got pushed aside and didn't have a home. Anyone would've taken Amsoil/Geico Honda, Team Green/PC, or a KTM based spot at that point over going to Star. Star stepped up to go after Martin and Webb, it was a perfect storm where both were somewhat overlooked and Star wanted to make it happen.

Great interview. As I have said a couple times now, I have really come around to Jace's interviews, in general lately. But being a big Webb fan, I thought this was a great interview. He just is a straight shooter and I like his attitude. He worked hard and even to this day, has an outlook that I admire. And he even admits when something is his fault or doesn't work. He basically admitted that Tomac clowned him when he tried to play head games with him. And I don't think Webb tries to act like he is better than...

Star wasn't the place to be when he signed with them. They were still the bottom-of-the-barrel factory-level 250 program at that time, and that's not meant to be a dig. He signed with them while still on the carbureted platform. He actually started riding for them in the winter of 2011...the backward cylinder monster didn't come until the winter of 20213. Geico Honda chose to go with Zach Bell at the time that Cooper ended up going to Star.

I'm about a third of the way through this podcast. I've been somewhat neutral on Webb over the years but so far its really hard not to root for the guy after hearing his story. Went to public school until he was 16, played stick and ball sports, got bullied in school for being small, was turned down by all the factories when he was younger. Surely this guy is much more relatable to the average moto fan than the kids that grow up on a compound being home schooled and pampered by the factories their entire lives?

When I go to the movies or really any events where there are prices like that, I take some cheese, almonds, brazil nuts, a protein bar, and in a seperate bag a scoop of preworkout or something like that. Eat before you go, bring in a water bottle, and then you've got a snack and a boost and you're good all day. It ruins my mood when I have to buy a $32 pizza or something insane like that.

This is why I love the Nationals. Walk to different areas around the track, bring your own food and beverages, and not be crammed like sardines in a seat made for a toddler. That being said we did get tickets to MetLife next month because the kid has been to nationals but never SX. We’ll starve till we leave the stadium before I pay $20 for a hot dog.

Went to a restaraunt by Lumen Field, Jimmy's, and had a spicy chicken sandwich with fries which was rather delicious. Which moves me to my next point. I'm really glad I ate before I went into the stadium because prices for food and drink seemed liked legalized thievery to me. I did buy two of the lemon flavored alcohol beverages which were 24 oz and a bag of popcorn. The total came up to over $45 dollars, which is ridiculous. I would have sent the items back, but they open the cans as soon as they set them on the...
