Their announcing was terrible. That guys knows drag racing and can breakdown Pro Stock bikes like no other, but he doesn’t know anything about mx/sx. I enjoy his drag racing content, but his mx content is lacking.

Why can’t people just be happy that we had coverage of this event? If NBC was there, everybody would complain about the broadcasters, interviewers, TV production, and everything else. Everyone should just be stoked that we had the opportunity to watch this live and not have to watch YouTube clips or wait for cycle news the month later to hear about it.

Idk why its not letting me edit BUT edit to add: It is cool having a stream of a race like that on youtube I do appreciate the effort and being able to watch it. And just so we are clear its not just these guys, the announcing during the LL stream isn't much better but idgaf im just happy to be able to watch it lol.

That guy believes he is way too important…Steve was correct in his criticism it was horrible, they did make a big deal out of it being a “World Championship” and the Ducati thing just got real cringy….Maybe the guy that yelled at Eli for not going to his high five line also informed these guys to overblow the “World” thing on their stream….

He did, and that's exactly why he made the video, you can tell that Pulp segment where Steve ripped the announcing really got to him. Also showed a clip where he had just interviewed Steve about the LCQ challenge race right before Glen Helen, so Steve saying "I don't know who these guys are" got to him, too.

Podcast drama. Even moto isn't immune to it apparently. Dude's video is an hour long. He talk about Mathes for the whole thing? Anyone got cliff notes?

I’m stoked he still rides for fun. (Many are burnt out after a pro career) I hope he races some more - if he wants too. I’d love access to a track like that to roll around on in my dotage….On a smoker….

Nah, after putting in all that work and everything gotta run. The number one plate for a year and give it a all you got to try to back it up at least once.

If I were him, I'd retire a champion. There is nothing left to prove at this point. However, we are all better off with Kickstart Kenny at the races! I hope he goes back to Suzuki for at least another year.

Go watch some of the 2016/2021 era with Austin & dirtshark. It might be called style or something similar. Badass.

Say what you want, but I met Austin and his pops at the Elsinore SX track back at the end of 2018 and they were cool as hell to me and my buddy. Austin was super polite, talked to us for like 15 min, his pops pulled out a number plate and had Austin sign it for my buddy, just cool as hell and left some good memories for me and my buddy. Austin was hauling absolute ass out there too.

He's not better on a 450. Let him progress through a whole season and possibly win a title on a very good bike and team. Grow. I love the kid, I don't want him rushed when there's no reason yet. The thought process of some of you does not seem like you understand how difficult it is. Look at RJ, it was time for him to go up and ride a 450. And he's ridden well at times. But was he ready? Possibly. But now he's searching for a ride. Not really his fault. He will get one. But still...

So have a bunch of others. Let him win a title or two first on the 250. That will go a long way in his development and his investment portfolio. Not rushing him to a 450 even though he looked good at MXDN. Patience
