7/1/2026 11:37am True. I was going to say, "Holy crap, that's a lot of money!" Then, I realized that I work in the industry and no, it isn't. I'm just conditioned.

7/1/2026 11:37am After tax, that's about 3 draft beers per pay period at 26 checks a year. At 120K, I'd also look for the memo about Kawasaki moving their HQ to Lake of the Ozarks. Reminds me of the cocktail waitresses in lower economies who can't afford the drinks they're serving.

7/1/2026 11:36am Especially in Cali, where $120k is almost starting wage. Just the sheer inconvenience of working in that sh*thole state makes the wage even more of a joke. Hell, I live in the MW and wouldn't work for that.

7/1/2026 11:35am And unless you want to sit on a freeway for two+ hours a day you have to live close to Irvine, which 120K a year ain't gonna cut it.

6/30/2026 7:49am Whiskey Throttle. Lots of history that would be lost otherwise. I’ve learned a lot about the guest in the long form interviews.

6/30/2026 7:38am Ive always wondered for the Americans that ride moto, do you swap your brakes on your mtbs/roadies to the same as the moto setup? front brake on the right, or do you just keep it opposite and hope you dont have brain fade and yank on the wrong brake.

Falcon Liked a reply to forum topic Tacoma 5' bed moto fit?
6/29/2026 2:51pm IMO, a 5-foot bed is not sufficient for a motocross rider's needs. However, you can get really creative if that's all you have. I have a 6-foot bed on my Tacoma and it was barely enough for a little while there. Now the kids are a little older and I don't have to do this anymore:

6/29/2026 2:51pm I got the 5 ft bed. I load my bike up on the right side of the bed and turn the handlebars all the way left. The front tire contacts the front most side of the bed and the right wheel well. It feels secure like this and I use a MotoGate strap tailgate since my actual tailgate cannot close. Gives me peace of mind to keep all my other stuff in the bed. I love my Tacoma and it works well enough to get to the track safe 👍
