" Kawasaki and their latest business plan of finding a quick guy and bringing them in hasn’t worked. Is it time they find another rider on the 250 who is familiar with the bike and knows how to ride the bike and build from there." I don't think getting a guy that's on the couch more than he's on the bike is any better.

They sign Mikula and he becomes Vialle 2.0 They have Gyan Doensen in the pipeline too, they have to go somewhere. I would guess the Valin Kawasaki deal has a 450 option too maybe, similar to Renaux's Yamaha one, to seal it. There arent many guys at the minute that are stand out in MX2, that are available for 2027

Some of the tight 180 degree corners, where they were literally sliding into it, made it really fun to watch. Also the chicanes in the tree/woods section were nice to see these guys go from left to right behind each other. Gajser rubbing Adamo into the barriers also was a nice corner. The right hander after that one made up for several passes too. Febvre madea lot of passes. McLellan too, he rode absolutely amazing moto 2.

To me, this GP was one of the greatest examples of the USP that MXGP has. The variety of tracks and track surfaces. As a rider in this series, you and your team has to be able to race every single track style and condition.

The Fences: Yup, they do look a bit 'scary'. However ( to me ), more scary is with tracks like that, being without some approach to Not having riders spear off into / onto other sections, and the other racers. Tracks, due to the terrain available - in this case, on the top of a Height / Mountain, that are set at different levels, with straights parallel to each other, well , there's the distinct possibility of a prang, where a rider goes off the side, down, onto the other section of track. Or, in the case of a corner...

I'm guessing the vital MXGP podcast will contain a scathing review of the track. Personally I loved it. I wouldn't want to see more than 1 or 2 of these on the schedule but it definitely expands the track variety. Something sadly missing in the US.

With out the Lawrence brothers, Prado and Deegan would be battling for the wins and they would both be hero's..

The simple fact is that, as good as he is, and as dialed in on his KTM as he is… he just doesn’t have the pace to run with the Lawrence’s and Deegan. And today, his teammate Plessinger found enough motivation and speed to pass him, too. Prado’s not perfect, but he’s worlds better than this time last year on the bike that just ended Sexton’s season.

Probably in the minority here, but I absolutely love this track and the way the MXGP attack it and have to be creative to pass

i'm happy we have an oldschool hardpack/concrete track on the calendar. Don't think the venue/location and water prep is up to par for a GP, but imo we should have at least 2 of these types of tracks on the calender.

That’s not dusty int he way Carlsbad or anywhere used to be. If all you want to see if rutted out tacky soil we might as well make MXGP a winter series and give up riding in summer.
