Context matters. He said he loves racing, but riding (practicing) isn't something he gets excited about. These guys ride a ton, its fair to see some burnout from the grind. If he didn't really love it, he wouldn't have returned after breaking his neck. Just my opinion.

When he wore an RIP Jett shirt at the season opening press conference and literally said he was here to win in multiple interviews. The one that comes to mind was the dirt shark interview.
